Linnaea's Cafe

Nice vibe, friendly baristas, and awesome indoor venue that sadly is closed off due to coronavirus. Pricey (it's downtown SLO), and service consistently a little slow so don't expect to grab a quick something if you're in a hurry

They were super helpful and looked up the ingredients on their treats to check for allergens for me. I had a couple gluten free, vegan, and soy free options to try, a rare thing! I will come back when I’m in the area!

Growing up in SLO county, SLO was always a place of artists and funky vibes. Long before hipsters and hydroflasks, it was place that was really not known for much more than the Madonna Inn. a real hidden gem, SLO’s backbone was made up by the locals who enjoyed fresh food, relaxed vibes and nothing pretentious.

Now, with your new restaurants, hip shops and fancy coffee joints, it seems SLO has become another #, destined to become Santa Barbara’s cousin.

Linnaea’s is a place that is still that SLO of old. With all the changes going on around it, linnaea’s hasn’t tried to be something it’s not. It’s remained focused on being rooted in great service, food and experience.

Walk past Scout and all the other coffee places who look and feel like every other coffee spot that was built in the last 10 years. Enter Linnaea’s and enjoy what SLO has always been about.

Delicious gluten free and vegan baked goods. Coffee and house made chai were great, too! Friendly staff, nice indoor seating and inviting outdoor garden area.

Other than its ambient nothing is good about this cafe. Four orders of breakfast arrived five minutes apart and cold!! ...The hot coffee drinks on the order also arrived cold and tasteless, less than ordinary ... Overall a terrible experience and waste of money!

The breakfast burritos are amazing. The coffee is great. The staff is friendly. The back patio is a wonderful place to hangout, read, and just relax.

Nice place but the food was not wow as expected. The coffee was good though. They have very nice back patio.

Great food, drinks, and outdoor area. Only complaint is that all of the 6 or 7 times I've come in, they have forgotten to bring out at least one item. Not the place to go if you're on any kind of schedule, but otherwise good.

Amazing lunch foods, mostly gluten free and vegan. Beautiful and peaceful place to hangout or do work. There are some power outlets available. Outdoors and indoors seating. Friendly baristas!

This charming little cafe has been an essential element of my life since 1991. Some of the old flavor got destroyed by stinky people but, the best parts haven't changed a bit ... Come submerge yourself in one of the first and brightest jewels of SLO culture.
