Stylin Spot, classy, 🎨 artistic, birds are magical, feed em out of my hand.

I love Lynnea's cafe, it's small and cozy, more like having a cup of coffee and cake in my living room than going to an establishment. The cakes are freshly baked and sliced, the cookies are in cookie jars - not wrapped and branded. Sit up front at the window, or in the back room to study. Or go to the patio out back, a special, secluded space, day or night.

Yummy plant-based pastry options, super good coffee, and cute as heck.

I’ve been here a few times, always hoping for better coffee. It is very watery and bland, and the staff isn’t welcoming at all. The place is cute and has a nice ambiance but I wouldn’t go back. Not sure why it’s rated so highly!

This is my favorite coffee shop in SLO. I love to study here. The drinks are always made with care and the staff is very warm and welcoming to all guests. They always have a smile and answer questions respectfully. The food here is SO GOOD. They have cookies, muffins, and other fun treats but, oh my gosh, the cakes (especially the carrot cake!) are to die for. I'm vegan and even my non-vegan friends love the vegan cake/baked goods. I like the lunch options they have too. They always have a vegan and gluten free option which is super awesome. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the garden in the back is a great place to hang out with friends (and take aesthetic instagram pictures!). A great gem in SLO.

ah linnaea’s is the best! the kindest staff, best desserts, cutest location, great events, and yummy food. the best kept secret in SLO is definitely the lunch on weekdays.
my favorites include the pumpkin pie latte, any of the vegan cakes, all of the cookies, the raspberry rhubarb bars, and the waffles.

The great drinks and snacks have kept me coming here for years. But lately, during the evening, the customer service has been really bad. No smiles. No "what can I get for you?". They just look at you like you already know the drill and you're holding them up by not announcing what you want when you walk through the door. This is very unlike the Linnaea's cafe I know and love and it makes me kind of sad!

Came here for breakfast this morning. expected something decent what I received was a 30 minute wait for cokd food:scrambled eggs with rock hard beans! Took one bite and I felt and heard the first crack of my teeth making contact with these small rock pebble beans not edible. Not what I was looking forward to and for the price not what was expected.

Linnaea's Cafe has been my go-to place for delicious teas, treats, and the best Mexican Hot Chocolate you can get in SLO. The back patio is lovely and the perfect spot for a quiet conversation, or you can sit inside for a cozy and social vibe.
Pro Tip: if you're not going anywhere, you can get your drink in a "for-here" mug and generate less trash!

While I enjoyed the ambiance, the aesthetics and the nice breeze. The Mexican hot chocolate that I ordered looked pretty. But it didn't taste like what I know to be Mexican hot chocolate.
The breakfast burrito was made fresh but you can taste how everything came out of a can.
