I absolutely love this place my only critique is that they would be open a little late.
I love the pumpkin spice latte they should keep it all year long! I also love the Dulce de leche if you love something sweet and creamy.
The cappuccino art is simply stunning and a unique idea đđ

I had a lot of expectations for this cafe after seeing all the hype on social media. My over all assessment is that this cafe is most aesthetically pleasing than anything else. I loved the decor and the menu that was very nostalgic and paid homage to alot of Mexican treats and traditional menu items. The potential is there but the actual taste of what I had from the menu just didn't hit the mark I had anticipated and left me a little bummed. My friend and I had two horchata lattes, hot and cold and both were good lattes. The artwork on my hot latte was beautiful but did it taste like horchata? Not really. It was delicious don't get me wrong. But it didn't hit the mark for me. We also had a cheese tamal and avocado toast with added bacon & tomato. The avocado toast was yummy, given that its a simple menu item I didn't expect anything wrong would come of it and nothing did it was delicious and refreshing. The tamal was not near heated enough, the cheese inside was not entirely melted and the tamal itself wasn't as warm as we would expect a tamal to be so the cheese was more rubbery and came out of the masa entirely. The flavor however was really good just a bit rushed. The wait for our drinks was extremely long. Our food came out right away but the wait for the drinks was near 20-25 minutes whereas the food came out in less than 10. The staff were all very warm & welcoming and the cafe itself has a nice cozy lounging atmosphere like most cafes. They have a large menu with alot of specialty drinks with a twist for Mexican candy and traditional items that I want to try more of so I will be coming back forsure and hope to enjoy more of the menu!

I ordered a torta for breakfast and it was delicious. The bread was soft and it had good flavor. I felt the coffees took a bit long to be ready since I got there at a time I did not see many people. Got to try the Horchata Matcha iced and I was surprised I liked it.

HonestlyâŚ.itâs a cute shop inside I can see the oooh ahhhh appeal of it. The line wasnât too long for a Friday at noon. The quality of the coffee was bleek, I tossed the other half away and ended up getting Starbucks. I got heart burn from the latĂŠ so no good there. I had the pink concha cupcake and it was flavorless basically just dough with pink coloring on top. For the amount of money I spent it was solely for saying âokay I wentâ but I wonât return. Menu selection for food, bakery items and coffee was strange. Itâs like they canât decide if they are a deli, coffee shop or Paneria.

By no means am I an expert on Mexican coffee traditions, but I did walk by a Holiday Inn Express last week.
No really, when I was in Mexico, I was surprised by how little of a coffee tradition my housemates had. They rarely drank coffee at all, and when they did, it was mostly instant in nature.
I attended a local chef's event to get the low down on Mexican coffee. Actually, it was a class on making churros from scratch. Although, there was an opening dialogue on coffee traditions that accompanied brewing some up.
From what I was able to glean, there are two flavors that are authentic when trying to make Latino coffee flavors, chocolate and horchata. This particular cafe features a mocha and latte that deliver enough flavor for me to consider them worthy competitors to Starbuck's Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Honestly, I feel like a cafe like this needs to throw shots at the granddaddy of over indulgent coffee orders when it costs $8 for a "Grandote" Mocha Mexicano. Admittedly, if I'm going to spend that much on a specialty coffee, it's probably going to be here.
When it comes to food, Con Azucar isn't slacking either. With a selection of traditional coffee pastries, as well as some simple comfort foods, the cafe delivers an experience worth taking a trip to have.
The only real downside is the service is a bit sporadic. When it gets busy, it can take a long time to even place an order, nevermind receive it. In retrospect, if you can avoid the busiest of times, you'll probably enjoy the experience more than most, but it's coffee, that's pretty hard to do.

Anything you order here is delicious. The drinks were delicious from the first to the last sip. The pan dulce is soft and has bits of cinnamon and sugar in every bite.

If your a coffee lover you got stop by and any of their flavor lattes or hot chocolate, the cheese melt sandwich is delicious with a chai tea âď¸

When i arrived i saw a line out the door and was almost bummed out. But i remembered that good things take time, so i decided to wait and it was definitely worth it. Erika greeted us so warmly and took our order with a smile and was answering our questions. We asked for food and drinks (Iâll attach some photos with descriptions) and it all tasted as good as it looked. Which was amazing. Solo hay 5 estrellas but Iâll give it 10/10

Nice cafe with Mexican inspired coffee drinks. Enjoyed the drinks and the food though the food is a bit pricy. Also wished the tables and floor were wiped down more often but it's not terrible.
Overall a good addition to the neighborhood and good spot to catch a coffee and chill

I came here before when it had opened and it was great. I went today and was very disappointed. They didnât have many Mexican inspired coffee drinks like they did before. For the ones they did have, we asked what they contained and the lady working was clueless. She didnât know what ingredients it contained so if you have an allergy I feel for you. They also didnât wipe down the tables and we had to sit at the only table available that had crumbs all over it. The coffee was made good but the experience overall and customer service lacked.
