So nice to have a good Portuguese restaurant in the area. Portuguese food is understated and completely under rated. It is so good though. And this restaurant delivers some of the best flavors from this small but worldly country.
We had the octopus appetizer. It just melted in your mouth along with some of the almost raw vegetables served on a creamy white sauce. Delicious.
The main was the chicken baked in Piri piri sauce. That’s a spicy hot sauce but is used sparingly to give it a mild yet tasty effect.
Could not resist the custard pastry for desert. It’s best fresh but all the flavors are there. What a treat!
This restaurant nails it. If you ever want to try Portuguese food, try this place!! Not interested in Portuguese but just want good food, try this place! You can’t go wrong.

Food was excellent and flavorful. Our server Zamir explained everything to us clearly. We had raw yellow fin, polenta with mushrooms, bacalau casserole, cinnamon pudding, and traditional portuguese egg tart. We went early (6PM) to avoid the crowd, which happened even on a Tuesday by 7PM. Parking may be a problem since it is on Church Street, and the side streets are residential.

Went there for a Portuguese wine dinner hosted by Rachel Farah. The food and Hospitality were superb, as of course were the wines. I definitely have the intention of returning to this restaurant to sample some of their regular food all of which looked delicious when I saw it coming out of the kitchen.

The food was excellent and the service was great as well. I’d recommended sharing a few dishes family style. We ordered an entree, a small dish and an appetizer, and it was a good amount of food for two people.

Was expecting a little more from this place but unfortunately came out disappointed. The place itself is very nice. The food seemed overpriced for what it was, and lacked flavor. The service was good from who we thought was our waiter but seemed to be the host and part waiter, the other waiter who took our order seemed to shy and was missing interest in really selling us on the overall dining experience.

Wonderful fish forward Portuguese restaurant. Delicious all around and with a great crew and really nice vibe. Menu changes just enough to give you a reason to come back. Love having this in the hood.

Authentic Portuguese food. The environment brought me back to a local restaurant in the streets of Lisbon. Recommend to anyone. Hats off to the chef.

The egg tart is the worst I’ve had in my life, even worse than most Chinese bakeries. Super sweet, too wet, no crispy crust, no egg taste, all in your mouth is sugar sugar sugar! Nothing like Pastel de Belem I had in Lisbon. If you hate super sweet stuff like I do, please don’t order it.

We had wonderful birthday time with family. Great food, great service. Parking was little challenge.

Yummy fresh Portuguese food that is worth a second visit. Make reservations. It gets packed.
