Mostra does some things you don't see in other coffee places - they incorporate some Filipino flavors in their drinks - bibingka creme brulee, turon cappuccino with jackfruit and banana, and even an ube latte. And the coffee itself is so rich and smooth.

Drinks are usually amazing although if you go during a rush time the drink quality usually drops. Also the majority of people who work here are friendly and attentive, however I've had multiple experiences of just standing waiting to pick up with no one greeting me for a couple minutes. Wish they were a little faster, or even just acknowledged that they take a long time. A quick, " Sorry about the wait" or "Thank you for waiting" goes a long way.

If you like being ignored while picking up a mobile order, Mostra is the right place. None of the baristas are attentive anytime I come here. You can barely hear them call out your name over the loud music.

The new coffee bar is a great place for a meeting or a chat with a friend. The staff is warm and inviting. They take the time to talk with you if it's your first visit to make sure you enjoy the experience and the coffee. Can't say enough about the product. I have not had a coffee drink from here yet that I have not enjoyed. Awesome bonus is the beer partnerships developed by the team which they proudly display. We visit frequently and always happy to return.

Amazing little spot tucked away in an unsuspecting plaza. The interior is decorated for an easy morning coffee, nice coffee date or a hardcore study session. The staff were all friendly, very informative and passionate about their coffee. The coffee itself was outstanding. I've had many different types of cold brew and theirs stand out as one of the best I've had. With multiple kinds, they one to fit your mood. They have an assortment of other coffees as well if that's more your style. Definitely worth the drive each and every time.

This coffee cafe rocks and fits my nerdiness well. Scales, precision and lots of options. They take time to make specialty coffee correctly. And there’s some decent croissants to go with a beverage. Service is more friendly than many places. A welcome upgrade from the chain coffee shops and baristas.

I love the atmosphere and the style of the shop. The best way that I can describe it is a rustic, older building style. The seats on the right side as you walk in remind me of an old train station, and the long marble table is a beautiful piece. The coffee is good, but a bit pricey. I would love to go here more, but the price is somewhat prohibitive

I was drawn to this coffee shop based on the reviews, but unfortunately I was left terribly disappointed.
I drove from Poway to try their mint mojito monthly special. I ordered it online for pickup in-store. Here are all of the reasons why my experience was quite possibly one of the worst I've had at a coffee shop:
1. The line was very long, nearly to the entrance, and I noticed the assistant manager was taking inventory of merchandise at that time, when clearly all hands were needed to combat the Sunday morning crowd.
2. I asked a barista at the bar if my mobile order earned points in the loyalty program. He told me the systems are not tied but that points could be added, however I'd have to stand in the long line to do that.
3. I stood in the line while I waited for my drink and when I got to the register, the assistant manager took over the middle of the transaction when the other girl was looking up my account to add the loyalty credit. The manager then tried to charge me for the drink again.
4. I waited for my drink some more and then was told they were out of half and half and could not make my drink. What kind of coffee shop runs out of half and half before the day is even halfway over?!
5. Very disappointed, I told the assistant manager that I wanted a refund. She said ok and walked away. I stood around for a few minutes and finally got her attention to ask if she was going to acknowledge my existence again. She said she had issued the refund. So why let me continue to stand around and not follow up? Also, she gave me no documentation whatsoever and I am still waiting for a refund to post to my card.
6. I told her that this was a terrible experience all around and she acted as if she couldn't be bothered and there was no reason for my annoyance and disappointment. Her demeanor was not appropriate for one who interacts with customers, let alone one in a position of leadership.
What I find most disappointing is that I reached out directly to the business in order to share this experience for improvement. To date, the email has been opened 4 times but no one has addressed it. I don't anticipate I will receive a response unless I need to reach out again should the refund not be credited within the next week. Working in client services myself, I have had to address when my team did not live up to expectations and senior management certainly would not find it to be acceptable for me to leave a customer hanging.
I really wanted to like this place as I am always on the hunt for local coffee shops with creative drinks, but I don't see myself going back since it is out of the way for me and I do not feel valued or respected.

The ladies there are pretty close to being the nicest people I’ve ever met. They’re super sweet and make you feel like a special customer every time. The Camp Fire Latte is one of the best specialty coffee drinks I’ve had in the entire city (and this city has some really great non-Starbucks coffee shops). I’ve also bought a few different bags of the beans they roast on site from their little cool front end shop and the coffee I make at home with those beans is also always delicious. Great place and great business!

Okay, this is a pretty cool coffee place. Definitely the hidden gem of the area. It's pretty spacious with a decent amount of seating. They have these enclaves against the wall so you and a friend or a date can enjoy a cold or hot beverage. They are pretty quick with the service and the coffee is very good. I had the creme brulee latte, which was delicious. They dont have coconut milk but almond milk works, they also have soy and a few others. The menu is not overly complex but has enough variety for coffee, tea hot or cold. The overall vibe is pretty peaceful for a place serving caffeine but, that is part of the charm. If you are in the area, stop by. It's right between a grill with awesome food and a candy store. How can you go wrong!
