Mostra Coffee

It was ok but not for the price. Expensive pour over was lackluster and thin. We watched the machine they use make it and it didn't know what it was doing. Tried an acidic and somehow also sightly burnt medium roast as well.

The lady taking our order gave me a blank stare when I said I was so excited to try this coffee since my husband is Filipino.
The small gal with a headband and short hair was not friendly at all. They were out of bebinka and that’s what we went there for. Coffee was good, just disappointed. Will not be coming back.

Pretty place, sweet staff and good coffee. Bibingka creme brulee was good, less sweet than i expected.

This place is great! Their coffee/cortado is delicious. Lauren there is amazing! She's really friendly and gave me a great recommendation on their Kenya beans for my pourover.

So amazed by this coffee shop. Most coffee shops thrive on being OVER minimalistic which there is a time and place for. I like minimalism but this place has class. The furnishings were so beautiful but not overcrowded. I felt like I was in an elegant British bed and breakfast. The coffee was quality. I love me a light roast but was very impressed with both the dark and medium (which I don't normally like) they didn't taste but like they usually do. They were full and bold. I loved the bibinka latte as well. Reminded me exactly of the dessert my mom makes. It was a pleasant treat. We also got some savory pastries that were so so good as well. The customer service was great as well. They young man that took our order was so helpful. It was so busy but he kept his cool and had a smile on his face the whole time. I highly recommend going here.

It’s rare to find a coffee shop with some character outside of downtown San Diego. This place surprised me. Worth stopping by for a cup just to soak in the energy.

What I like about this coffee shop is that making different toppings is beneficial to the barista. The employees are extremely pleasant. And the carrot/walnut cake is also delicious! I highly recommend this establishment!

Can't say enough wonderful things about Mostra coffee!! Croissant fresh baked and crispy. Oatmilk late delicious!! Super friendly, open early 6 am. LOVE Independent coffee houses❤

Drinks are good, and the baristas are nice!! Try their special drinks if you want something different! 😋

What a great coffee place! Amazing staff and even better coffee. They have a lot of great options and new seasonal coffees changing all the time. Have so many options we get a new one each time! Enjoyed them all!
They also apparently just won coffee roaster of the year which makes sense! They even messed up an order once (not a big deal at all, we happened to mention two different types of coffee and they accidently made the other one we didn't decide to go with, was still delicious btw.) They felt so bad that they offered us a new one on the house which we said wasn't necessary but they insisted and a coupon for a free drink next time which was very generous. Come here anytime we get a chance.
Definitely worth a visit. 5 stars!
