HOB Coffee on Park

A favorite of mine. It feels like being on vacation enjoying the nice breeze and a very cool peanut butter, chocolate, and banana drink. Their food is delicious and plentifully portioned. They're pet and people friendly.

I love the atmosphere here. There's free wifi, coffee, yummy crepes, and outlets everywhere! They also have USB outlets! I love this place because the natural lighting keeps me awake unlike other coffee shops where you're stuck in a corner without a window :)

Great breakfast options, great food and great coffee! Too bad a restaurant named 'refills' doesn't have free refills! However, given the propensity of people come and hang for hours, you'd go broke with free refills! Heading back next week!

Stopped here our first day in San Diego & proceeded to start EVERY day of our trip at Refill. Iced mocha was delicious & the mimosa slushies start vacation days off RIGHT!! 🙌 A must go if staying in San Diego around the Balboa Park area.

Open at 6am: perfect for parents with a kiddo who doesn't know how to sleep. The coffee drinks hit the spot (chocolate milk cold brew!), and the crepes were yummy. The people are also very nice. 👍

Croissants are perfect and flaky. The brie & fig jam croissant sandwich is SO good that I've ordered it twice in one weekend. Highly, highly recommend

I went to eat lunch at about an hour and a half ago. Nice coffee house place. I decided to have my lunch out on their patio. I ordered my food. When my food was brought to me I asked my server, a young lady wearing a black t shirt with the emblem of a brewery place called Melvin, I regret not getting her name now, but I asked her politely if she could get me a salt shaker. Her response was not only rude but to be a server it's not appropriate at all. She gave me this annoyed look and smirked at me at the same time. When she walked away a couple of women to my left saw and heard her response and they politely offered me their salt shaker at the same saying to me while shaking their heads, " here you go sweetie, I dont think she will be bringing you a salt shaker at all,". I thank them and felt embarrassed for that young woman. To be so young and already have that reaction when she is there to serve you, well then maybe this isn't the job for her and she shouldn't be serving anyone at all. If I do go back to this lunch place I will make sure to let her boss k ow of her attitude and conduct towards this shops patrons. Some young people need to learn and have some simple ettiquette classes.

Love the smooth coffee here. Very comfortable to meet a friend or have a business meeting. The breakfast sandwiches look very fresh and delicious.

A fantastic place to come bring your computer and grab some food and coffee and do work!! I got a crepe and it was so so good and I feel like i found a gem! So excited to keep coming here and to get some work done
