Communal Coffee is one of the best coffee shop experiences that San Diego has to offer. Not only is their coffee delicious, but they also serve up small bites and alcoholic drinks here too. The atmosphere is bright and airy and there is plenty of seating, making it a great place to work or study. Plus, the in-house flower shop and selection of jewelry, books, candles, and cards among other things make it a great place for gift shopping as well.

Communal Coffee is one of the best coffee gem in San Diego/ north park location. Not only is their coffee, teas, spirits they offer a vast variety of food options. You must try the avocado toast, flat bread, guava toast, vegan chocolate and lavender donuts, and croissant. The atmosphere is very inviting and pet friendly there is plenty of indoor and outside seating. a great place to work, coffee dates or studying. They also sell local vendors jewelry, books, candles, body oils/ perfumes plus greeting cards. I’ve purchased 2 soy candles, which were amazing. Only con- parking is a nightmare. But I guess that typical for most north park cafes.

I usually come here for the rose latte, which is always fantastic. Today I decided to get the ginger Mediterranean bowl with couscous and was pleasantly surprised. It tasted so fresh and delicious and was quite filling. It was a little toasty out and was surprised to find they had extra seating inside in the back. Noticed lots of people working, but thankfully they didn't seem to be bothered by me and my friend happily chatting away. I'd definitely venture to try other food choices with my rose latte.

The café lives up to its name. The space is light, friendly and inviting. The menu features a wide selection of breakfasts and plates to share (after noon). The Communal 🥑 toast is simply delicious. Served on warm delicious buttered bread with a dash of chili peppers.

Sweet Mint Cold Brew… Sausage Maple Sandwich… what an experience. I never had cold brew and mint but this combo is so refreshing and not overly sweet. The maple syrup from the sandwich was a good pairing. The coffee shop is also cool as there is a whole store in it with a spot to buy wine. 10/10 for aesthetics and food!

Pretty good. I think they are a little over the top with prices. I am a huge coffee drinker and visit higher end shops on a frequent basis. That being said I was a little taken aback at the $2 drip refill policy. It was fantastic coffee! But that’s just a hefty tag for a refill. The pastry was also hit or miss which I assume they outsource. I really liked the toast options. The avocado toast, mushroom and truffle, and croque were awesome. Customer service is really pleasant as well.

A cute place to drink coffee, eat breakfast & lunch, study & work, and hangout. The interior design here is really cozy. You will definitely have a good mood to be in this space. You can also shop and buy some beautiful flowers here. I tried their avocado toast this time because Mark Wiens recommended that before. The toast is delicious but the portion is too small for $12. My parents in law had a bagel sandwich and a bowl of Cobb salad. The waiter forgot to bring the eggs for the salad. I’ll say I love here’s coffee and space but probably won’t come back for food.

Came here on a suggestion from a YouTube video we saw and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the Dark Chocolate Orange Latte and requested half of the dark chocolate syrup since I don't like my coffees too sweet. It was perfect! Also ordered the blueberry scone which was fresh and tasty. They also sell flowers and gifts here. The gifts are very nice but a little pricey. Lots of candles. Parking is very limited and street parking is your only choice except for two parking spots on there driveway. I would cube here again.

Such a great vibe! I had the Croque Madame toast and the Maple Latte, both of which were super yummy. Loved the decor and all the cute products to buy inside. Would definitely come back.

The fun drink options are the highlight here. Coffee is good, but the best part are the fun flavors and different choices. I got an almond chocolate coconut cold brew. Very good.
Great atmosphere. Very quiet place to work or study. Lots of seating but also most of it was taken.
