Hilltop Diner

We came to the soft opening yesterday and we’re one of the first tables served! So amazing to be able to be a part of history. It looks amazing in there everything was top notch, we tried the burgers, milk shakes, and pies! The strawberry shake tasted so fruity and authentic. We see this place being the new hot spot in town. Can’t wait to come back for more! Loving the fifties theme and feel.

We have been four times now. The wait staff are friendly and quick to serve us. Food is good, atmosphere very enjoyable. My only complaint is that sometimes the cook is not consistent. Last time we went my hubby ordered the meatloaf dinner and I ordered the chicken pot pie. Our kids ordered different burgers. The pot pie was great but the meatloaf was cold, not slightly warm but actually cold and the cole slaw was dry and tasteless. Two of the burgers ordered were good but my grandson ordered the bacon burger and asked for the bacon to be very crisp. The bacon was not even close to crisp. It was floppy and he could not eat it. They did comp our meal which was nice. I am hoping that they do figure out the cooking issues.

Absolutely enjoyed our time and meals there! We had a knuckle club and a pastrami sandwiches. Really good. The candied bacon was a TREAT!! SO GOOD!!
Our waitress, blond gal, was perfect! Great iced tea too!

We had a lovely breakfast! Service was perfect and the food was tasty.

Very impressed with the cleanliness of this restaurant, and the service was excellent. Good food, and fantastic chocolate pie. Will definitely be going back.

First time in, apparently there was an issue with my husband's steak falling off the plate, however the manager Dillon came and apologized for this and they cooked another quickly so all was corrected. Good selections for home cooked cuisine, we will come again, also enjoyed the personality of our waitress Allie we think was her name, very personable. ☺️

We have come in for lunch, ordered takeout through entree express twice, and as of tonight we have also enjoyed dinner. Food every time was fantastic- hot, fresh, crsipy, juicy. We have loved the burgers, the chicken, and the meatloaf 😋 Their milkshakes are yummy and so are the pies! The service is fast and friendly. Great place for any meal 🥰

First time trying the new place. Had high hopes and was completely disappointed. All three entrees tasted the same (even tho they were different items)…. BURNT!! After just a couple bites all three of us couldn’t finish, it was so bad. And the artichokes are “marinated “ canned, so if you don't like the brine taste don't get those! One bite=in the trash. Unfortunately we wont be back.

Server was very nice. Food was ok, my burger was past well done, which might be good for those who like overcooked meat. I prefer medium to medium rare, so it was very dry. Pastrami was good on top, fries were also good and hot.

My wife got the zucchini fries and they were awesome! Now that Red Robin no longer has the zucchini fries, I guess I'll have to come back and try ordering the burger cooked to my taste!

Rest of the food was good, atmosphere was pleasant and the press and cookies looked very tempting! We will have to come back and try it again, hopefully this was a one time mess-up.
