Hilltop Diner

I came in for dessert due to menu options. Missed that the special pie was peach, but ordered berry pie and butterscotch shake. Both were delicious. Diner type atmosphere, with 50’s style music inside, but I was doing take out. Next time, I’ll have to try a meal too!

I have eaten at Dennys burger King McDonald's even in and out ect. This is by far the best burger and fries ever eaten. And don't get me talking about the fries I always ending up eating them before my burger...their that good. As a black man I usually go places and don't get a warm welcome but here was a delight. Staff was very nice and attentive to Costumer Service and prompt. Great family place to vist. They get a 100% in my book.

Server didn't explain details on dinner items I was asking about I asked if I could get the 8oz prime rib with mash and side salad and she said sure we got a salad bar go make your side salad at no point did she say their would be an up charge for side salad and just added it to my check .....wasn't happy manager did take care of but shouldn't have to find out about a up charge on my bill when server said I could even swap one side for my side salad 🥗

I took my parents to an early dinner and everything was very good. We had ordered an appetizer which had been misplaced and they made one especially for us and gave it to us on the house. The waitress was very pleasant as well.

Really good food. But out of turkey somehow. Which was disappointing, because i was in the mood for the turkey dinner. On the expensive side for the size of serving. Overall really good for Redding.

Hilltop diner was real nice and clean, our waitress was very nice and made sure we were tooken care of. Food was good, I loved they had a salad bar where everything was fresh. I felt a. Little bad because I didnt eat everything and they noticed. I had my waitress and owner come over to make sure it was good. Just know it was, my eyes were just bigger than my stomache. But. I did eat the rest for dinner. Thank you to all staff it was a great experience.

It was pretty good food, good amount for what you pay, but the gravy was luke warm and didn't have much flavor.

Food was really good and for a great price, overall a great place to eat!!

Food was good but the portions were small for the price, smelled like sewer off and on while we were there.

This place is amazing!! Maddie was our waitress and she took such great care of us. She was very friendly and had a wonderful attitude. The food tasted delicious and the zucchini fries weren't soggy or mushy like other places. Definitely coming back!!
P.S. You can't beat the prices!!
