Hilltop Diner

I had the salad bar and soup today, which was tasty. Our waitress was very attentive, it is a basic salad bar, not lots of thrills but it was good. I did find out that you can have a side of protein if you wish.

My experience at Hilltop Diner has been amazing. My family and I usually head to Denny's once a week or so for a family breakfast. And on a whim we decided to try Hilltop Diner instead. It is our new go-to breakfast spot. The waffles or pancakes are a huge hit with the kids and breakfast hash with Texas Toothpicks is absolutely perfect! I am so glad we decided to stop in and the staff has always been friendly and warm.

Actually has a salad bar!!! I get VERY weary of places that pretend their customers prefer pre-set salads and don't eat soup from May - October "because it's hot" (I'll start believing it the first time I EVER hear a summer customer say "and put my steak/hamburger in the fridge for 10 minutes or so before you serve it to me").

The menu tastes great so far, too. I'll let y'all know if any of the food disappoints in the future.

It was a good burger, I got the zucchini fries with it and they were ok. There was some kinda nasty smell, it reminded me of sewer, but it eventually dissipated. Other customers complained about the smell as well and asked to be moved. I'd try it again, hopefully without the nasty smell.

Food was good. Friendly staff. Prime rib was tasty and they gave me a nice portion of horseradish. The roasted corn was very good. We will come back.

Very nice, beautiful place that smells delicious as soon as you get to the doors. Very attentive and friendly staff and the place is so clean and beautiful inside. Go check it out and eat! You won't regret it!

Halfway between Sacramento and Medford we found this diner by very happy accident. They have amazing desserts the lemon bars are probably the best I have ever had. Their carrot cake was superb. We usually leave with 4-5 boxes full of treats to take home.
Let's not forget about the rest of the menu though. Excellent food everytime, they have zucchini fries and stuffed baked potatos just to name a few and we always manage to get the same waitress who is just wonderful.
Definitely worth the stop.

Went this morning Sunday after church and the food was amazing! The server Michaela was so sweet with our kids and so quick, no wait to be seated. We will definitely be back!!

I had previously reviewed this restaurant high. Service today was sub par. My server only came once to check on us. Did not refill drinks until prompted. The chicken sandwich was very dry , over cooked. This was definitely not a good visit. Perhaps next time.

Food was good! Grandson picked this place, for the corn dog, he even mentioned to Katie the waitress it was his birthday, so a little surprised they didn't do a little something for him! Husband was shocked they automatically added a CCFee of .99 BEFORE they found out we pd. Cash. So as a result we technically overpaid by $1.00! As I see it, we should of been asked if we were paying cash or card before that credit card fee was even added! I asked after the fact, and we had already pd. and it was on our receipt 🤔 Note: check your receipt before you pay!
