Brot Coffee

This place is never open. Super strange change at will hours. Went to this place a few times to get some coffee and could never get in. Always closed. The last time we went they locked the door right in our faces at noon. I give up on this place. It must be ran by millennials, we will never go back.

Came in the weekend it was pouring down rain in March (so, any weekend March)... really cute set up and layout but completely lacking in seating. The service is phenomenal and the coffee is better than the tea. The coffee is exactly as it should be, roasted to perfection with a balance and smoothness that keeps you sipping happy. Truly though, the toast is the star here. The variety and quality of bread is top notch and I loved the cinnamon brioche! I am slowly going through as many different toasts as I can and highly recommend the walnut bread and the avocado toast.

I used to come every time I visited OC it became a "must go" every trip.

And the toast is a must the squanana it's just delicious.
Heroes need a break too is understandable you have to close on Mondays.

This was great, breads was made from a bakery and was good plus I ordered a spicy mocha latte, little underwhelming but still good.

BROT has a great easygoing and relaxing vibe to it. You can definitely tell it's a business rooted in the community. Adrian, the owner, is always working hard creating his mastercraft beverages, but always tries to make it a point to say hello to customers and make them feel welcome.

As a person who has learned to create custom beverages at home, I have an appreciation skills and willingness to create different drinks for customers. I've asked him to mix milks, combine different ingredients, and then allowed him to work his magic making the final product. I've always been pleasantly surprised.

Not only is this a cool place to grab a custom beverage from, but if you're feeling a little creative and it's not a busy day, come up with a new drink and ask him if he'll make it for you. He just might!

This is my go to spot! I love the their coffee, the rosemary garlic toast with avocado is AMAZING, the environment is great, the employees are all super friendly, and their prices are fantastic. Not sure where else you can get a large cold brew and avocado toast for less than $10.00! Everything is delicious!

Update 4-15-23. Brot is consistently great. Friendly and helpful workers. Despite massive inflation, the prices do not try to take advantage of customers. They charge a fair price. One of the best OC coffee places.

Knowledgeable and friendly owners. What a great place! I continue to come back. The coffee is great and the staff is NOT at all snooty like many specialty places. They work hard to please customers and are genuinely interested in you having a great experience with their products and services. Success has made the place popular and they could double their space and fill it.

I had this placed bookmarked forever on yelp and haven’t had a chance to go until now. I am surprisingly happy to have come here! It’s pretty big, has plenty of outlets to work with, great wide menu of pastries and coffee and overall warm atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back.

Very decent place for early morning coffee and light breakfast. Atmosphere 8/10. Quality of food 9/10. Service 8/10. It’s a come back!
