Delicious Turkish coffee and scrumptious delights! Take a small break from the Canerey Row crowds and enjoy this quiet and beautiful spot for a break. Coffee for the adults and a couple dozen delights to select from for the kids (or just young at heart!)

We've tried a few Turkish Delight flavors in the past and all of them have been delicious. We went home this time with the pomegranate/ hazelnut and hazelnut chocolate Turkish delights. These were our favorites up to date !
The location is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Heads up, purchasing is weight based so the price can add up. The packaging is clean and received a cute reusable bag as well.
Looking forward to our next trip there !

how exactly am I going to take pictures of this store to review if “i’m not allowed to take pictures” from the SIDEWALK.
taking pictures from a public place with the doors open is called the FIRST AMENDMENT. I wouldn’t expect someone from draconian Turkey to understand that.
100% the guy that berated me was the owner. He didn’t even ask me nicely, he immediately went into attack DOG mode. I WASN’T EVEN STANDING INSIDE THE STORE. I’m not at all surprised that there are all these one star reviews.
This shop is literally located in one of the most touristy areas of Monterey. People take thousands and thousands of pictures for Google to post and advertise for this place. You would expect better attitudes towards people (I’m a local) but no, this dude thinks he is the king of the block.
Don’t shop here. Don’t spend your money here. Don’t even look in this store. (Because apparently it’s “illegal”).
PS turkish delight is overrated

Incredibly cool concept. A whole store of Turkish delights- one of my favorite sweets. Totally get why that kid from the Narnia books sold out his friends for Turkish delights tbh. Been twice now and everything I tried has been delicious. I’ll go back every time I’m in the area.

This place is so beautiful. Delicious Turkish delights. The staff is so friendly and will let you sample as many as you'd like. I tried the almond nougat with hazelnut filling, pomegranate paste coated in pistachios and a brownie nougat.
This place is kinda pricey but worth it for a special occasion. I bought a 6 inch turkish delight nougat and a 4 oz turkish coffee for $27 if you've never had turkish delight, definitely try it at least once.

Amazing! The Turkish delight is phenomenal and so fresh. I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome, and left feeling like family. I highly recommend that everyone visit when in Monterey.

the turkish coffee was overpriced. $7 for a mini size and the lid doesnt cover. she charged me card and cash for 1

Great coffee and the baklava was amazing. Wife and I took our three kids in and the owner was so friendly and talking with our kids making sure they had fun too. Really had a great time here and will be returning anytime we're in Monterey!

This place is all presentation and location whose entire business model is just to take advantage of tourists. There is a good reason they don't post any prices in the store because what they charge is insane; $40 a pound! For baklava! I bought the smallest box for fun before I knew the price because, seriously, who would see that coming. And I got a little box with 5 1/2 pieces for $24. 😱😱😱
And ironically their is a Mediterranean store two streets up that makes genuinely authentic, better tasting baklava for $2 a piece.... they just don't have the packaging.
