Skip the mainstream ice cream shops and definitely give this place a try. Their desserts are very authentic and incredibly tasty, some of the best baklava I’ve had in all of NoCal. A lot of variety too!

Delicious turkish delights (I usually don't like them too much), very friendly to us, and really good baklava. The new decor is also really nice. I'm very glad to have stumbled upon this cozy place for a turkish coffee

My wife (middle eastern) and I just stopped in because it looked interesting and we are both very experienced with many types of baklava. The turkish delights were pretty tasty. We do recommend those and there were a lot of different options.

The baklava however... gross... I mean yuck! We found out after the fact it's not fresh at all and its shipped in from Turkey. We tried multiple of both walnut and pistachio options Both were soft, mushy, and doused in syrup. Five pieces cost OVER $25 alone. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy those. Crazy expensive and the worst baklava we have had. We had to throw out most of it because of this unfortunately.

Overall, Staff was friendly and nice but we can only recommend the Turkish delights. Be prepared to spend quite a bit more then you would normaly expect.

Went in a few weeks ago and two lovely young girls let us sample some pieces of Turkish delights then let us buy a small piece to take with us. Went in today. The younger gentleman was very kind, but the older gentleman (the owner maybe by the way he was acting) told us we could only buy by the log. He rang up a pound of it and it came to 31.00. I told him I was able to buy a small piece before and he told me that “For 3 years we’ve been selling it by the log.” Super rude and rushing us. I told him he needs to speak to his employees then because they seem to be more kind and customer friendly. Don’t buy from this guy. Needs some business advice for sure. Go somewhere else. We loved this place before but we won’t go back.

The shop is very beautiful and the owner feels pleasant. However, the baklava is unfortunately foul. Not crispy or fresh, it is instead soggy and cold. The flavor is also nearly absent, just tasting sweet. I thought it was a new kind I had never had, but it simply doesn’t taste good and appears to just have been soaked in sugar water. Skip, alas.

The nicest man works there! I bought 4 pieces of baklava the night before. And it was so great I came back the next day before my mom and I left town to buy more. I bought 6 more pieces and he was so happy I came back he filled up my box for free. And gave my mom and I samples of their best sellers. He was so nice and wonderful he made my mom and I 's day🤗🤗

Amidst all of the one star reviews that leave a lot lacking, I thought I would chime in for an alternate perspective. When my wife and I dropped in unexpectedly the baristas were warm and friendly. We went for the experience and no expectations. We happened upon a fresh shipment of baklava timed with our arrival. Baklava is my favorite dessert and I’m a bit of a connoisseur. This stuff was amazing! Delicious. The best baklava I’ve ever had. Hands down. And i’ve actually traveled to Turkey and Greece. As such we also tried the turkish delights which are not as distinct and quite similar to what you’d see in the Turkish airports. While many are downvoting the pricing—keep in mind that the store is right center in Monterey’s tourist central. It’s also accounting for import fees of most goods. I loved the place and cannot wait to go back, but YMMV (your mileage may vary).

Bought their assorted Turkish Delights box, amazing! Got a few Bakalava's & the owner tossed in another for free. He was incredibly busy, since there were only two behind the register & the line nearly went out the door. Super happy, I can see why they do so well.

The owner was super rude every time I went, but this was the last straw. Examples include: He rudely said NO when I asked to get half a pound each of 2 different delights & said he only sold the delights by the log when the price were clearly listed by pounds(I bought by the pound before); and he kept rushing me to make my purchase & sighed and complained every time I had a question about a dessert (I only had 2 questions!) . Although this is the closest Turkish delights place to where I live, I refuse to go here ever again after this encounter. I have no idea how one could be so rude to a customer who was nothing but kind!!

The best Turkish Delight in the USA.
They are expensive but the best quality. If you try to get it brought from Turkey would end up paying almost the same amount of money, with the shipping and handling.
They do not sell the cheap corn syrup Turkish delights.
Some other Turkish Companies in East Coast who are famous even do not respond to email orders for Turkish Delights.
