This place has delicious desserts and the best coffee in town.

I found my latest visit to be disappointing. The pastry assortment I picked up, which totaled $40, were not as fresh as I would expect picking up on a busy Friday afternoon.
My biggest disappointment was the apple streusel. It should be called an apple bar. It was not made correctly and seemed to made with pre made pie shell. Not flakey, no crumbled top, cubed apples and bland.

Ok overall experience, they offer coffee refills. Few different pastry we tasted were lacking the taste. It does not compare to a real Paris Bakery but it seems like a good option in Monterey.

The puff pastries were amazing and had that made from love taste.

Stop here for breakfast, so worth the treat. They have at least 5 different kind of croissants, including cherry, raspberry, apricot, chocolate, and regular. I had the apricot and the filling was just sweet enough, not overpowering. They have an almost overwhelming selection...you'll want everything in sight if you love sweets. They have sandwiches, which I didn't try but I did try the quiche, which was lovely and rich if you're in for something savory. Even the chai latte was gorgeous ✨🥖🥐🍯

Best bakery in California. Their chocolate almond croissant and olive rolls are worth the 100 mile drive any day!!

Do not miss this bakery. We always go here on every visit to Monterey. This last trip we went twice ( in 4 days). Enormous number of croissant choices. Great lunches, great coffee. And out door seating so we can bring the dogs. Downside is they close at three so you can't go there for dessert after dinner.

One of the best bakeries I’ve ever been too! They had so many options and their pastries tasted so fresh and were absolutely delicious! The chocolate mousse pastry was my favorite.

Also, the people who work there are very kind. I would come here everyday if I lived here!

Good solid cafe. Croissants are good. I think I like the quiche best.
