Paris Bakery Cafe

Delicious and inexpensive. This place seems to cater to the high school crowd as place to get a cheap after school snack. Very fluffy and flaky croissants. Much better than the overpriced bakeries on Cannery Row.

Really lovely and cosy corner cafe! Coffee is easily one of the best I have had around the area, pastries and quiche are great as well. But what’s best is their warm and friendly service, will definitely be back! :)

We go every year. My husband grew up in Monterey/Seaside and says it hasn't changed. I love going to Paris bakery for the pastries and the coffee!!!

This place is criminally underrated! Best bakery in Monterey! Tons of variety (which is not common for some reason) and everything is so incredibly tasty! Environment is also second to none! A must visit for Monterey

Paris Bakery is a local bakery with lots of baked goods including cookies, cakes, breads, and sandwiches. Great place to get a cup of coffee. The staff are wearing masks and gloves. Lots of street parking outside.

This place is great. They have delicious sweet pastries, but be aware that their best stuff gets sold out early in the day & they don’t restock until the day after.

Regarding savory foods, I would suggest the cheesy sandwich (forget what it’s called) but it is delicious!

Any time I come to Monterey (from Bay Area) I make a point to stop at the Paris Bakery. The baked goods are... mmmm *chefs kiss*. Most recently tried their Raspberry Croissant and it was perfect. Just enough raspberry and croissant flaky, exactly how I like them.

Nice selection, great prices, carrot 🥕 cake was yummy. Sourdough 🍞 and chocolate 🍫 croissant were ok. Bit of a wait to get in. Neighborhood parking was adequate.

They always have the freshest baked goods. I am a big fan of the french bread.
