BE AWARE: They automatically charge 18% fee which they say "directly goes to the wage for equitable wage of employees", and they say this is not tip, you have to give at least 15% tip in addition to that. This means that you are paying at least 33% in addition to your food price, and plus tax, thats about in total 50% more. If you eat $100 on the menu, you are paying at least $150...I really don't know how to comment on this business. Food-wise? Very very mediocre. Way over-priced.

Excellent service, and dishes. A bit pricey but well worth it. Loved the fried yam dish, peach aguachile and the weird-ass ice cream dessert.

Almost every dish we tried was overly acidic, the chef is obsessed with citrus… worst of all, at $100 a head they have the nerve to add an 18% service charge on top of the gratuity. Super shiesty, incredibly unethical, hard pass.

Ordered the Avocado toast and the pork ribs. Pork ribs were a tad salty for me and luckily both tasted great together.

My beloved boyfriend took me on a date. Hence, we went to prestige and astounding restaurant in town. It was all perfect, knowing that the place was suited for our special day. The waitress and waiters were showing the smiles on their faces as they were accommodating our orders. Their wines, desserts, and main dishes were delicious enough to make my stomach full. Moreover, they have clean, elegant, secured, and classy surroundings. Till next time!

Animal is delicious! We had a great meal and as a fellow chef all my expectations were met. Taste, presentation, balance, creativity, service for the most part was on point. Just a touch better communication between staff. Other then that wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back.

This is now my favorite restaurant. We started with four dishes and ended with eight. My culinary mind is officially blown.

Great staff. We were there for Sunday brunch and they were quick and courteous. They helped us pick out lactose free and gluten free dishes.

Great place for brunch. Don’t skip the chicken liver toast.

This place is simply delectable. Over the years, I have been about four or five times and Animal is consistently excellent in the four areas that matter to produce a top notch dining experience: interesting menu, wines, service and I like the understated ambience (it keeps the focus on the food and your dining company).

My fiancé and I went for a very romantic dinner and this place exceeded our expectations. Matt, our server, was very knowledgeable and gave us excellent recommendations on both the food and wine. The caprese salad is a must! Everything we ordered had a very unique flavor and tasted wonderful. The atmosphere was typical Beverly Hills cool. It was great people watching as we are from out of state. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion and I will be back the next time I am in LA.
