Fantastic coffee shop. They know how to pour the perfect latte. I stop by here every time I’m in town.

great experience! Multi roaster coffee shop (Case & Portola on Nov.7 2015) with a nice concise menu. Espresso drinks, pour overs, and pastries. Retail slow brew devices & bags of coffee also available. Nice customer service and drink turn around time.

The coffee was great. I cant say most shops do a good black cup of coffee. No outdoor seating except for a lone table by the door. Parking is difficult to find in the late morning to early afternoon and its all metered. (10min per quarter). Bring your laundry money.

Recreational Coffee is a beautiful new little coffee shop with its clean modern design very much in the minimal wood and white trend of coffee right now. They have a small selection of interesting pastries (artisanal donuts), a small tea selection, and a lovely iced latte. The espresso in my latte was smooth and fresh served in a glass to stay, and the tea's presentation (green pomegranate by the Art of Tea) was compelling.

I'd love to return to try their cappuccino.

This is a nice addition to this corner of new businesses in downtown LB.

Absolutely the best interior and coffee bar layout in southern Cali, (and I've been to them all.) Greetings at the door, Perfect coffee/espresso drinks. This place has a very good feeling inside. Worth going out of your way to visit.

First time getting coffee here and I will be coming back. Lovely chai latte and the inside was inviting and offered some space to sit and write. Nice clean design and nice barista.

Best coffee in Long Beach that I’ve found. I have enjoyed the oats, Avo toast and bacon burger for breakfast and get a consistent quality. Staff are relaxed and obviously happy fun people. Great spot.

The coffee is good and their herbal tea blends are interesting and worth a try.Decent coffee. Nice decor with exposed brick wall and wood beam ceiling. Barristas are using organic milk for making lattes

Recreational has one of my favorite iced lattes- honey vanilla 🤤 it’s so good. Staff is so friendly and courteous.
