The Whole Wheatery

I’ve had about enough. I’ve been coming to this store spending very hard earned black dollars with regret for years. They sell organic but the energy is far removed. The feng shui sucks, the kitchen food is obviously designed for the elderly (No disrespect—-stating facts) and the vibes of many of the employees is just down right stale. Don’t get me wrong, some of the employees are awesome though; they know who they are and who they aren’t. It is the only local health food store (IN THE HOOD). After years of spending hundreds of dollars weekly on rabbit food (personal choice)., this mom & pop establishment failed to offer that good ol’ American customer appreciation by establishing a security protocol of chasing down customers (such as myself) who has an outside bag. SOME OF US ARE NOT THIEVES. The last thing a black person needs in America is to be reminded of just stupid this country actually is. I just wanted lime seaweed snacks. I bought 3. I should not have bought them. When I expressed my distaste for the security guards behavior “two black” employees came to console him for doing his job. Typical behavior of blacks to wash off the stank of their masters behavior. I explained that it was rather disrespectful after so many years of seeing my face to chase me down in the store to tell me to leave my bag of shampoo at the front. I’m glad they gave me a reason to just keep my little pennies to myself. The Whole Wheatert is a dried up tumbleweed. I will no longer water you. How ironic, I came to the realization of how costly this place is; selling items like teff that is 15 cents in Ethiopia or $1 Quinoa from Peru but.....oh never mind.

Great find of products and organic produce close to home! Would love to see more deals on prices as a trip to a competitor like Whole Foods or Trader Joe's will find the same product at a much lower price. In addition, the freshness of the selection of vegetables is hit and miss at times. Thank you for serving the AV with your selections, that would otherwise call for a trip to LA.

Great tasting natural juices, healthy shakes, smoothies and iced coffee at the Beverage Bar. Amazing healthy meals at the Cafe. Healthy products and produce all over the store. Best place to shop healthy in Antelope Valley!

They have a decent selection and it's nice to have a store like this in the AV. They don't have some basic items I'd expect to see like beeswax wraps or fair trade decaf coffee beans unfortunately.

The Whole Wheatery is a great place to purchase healthy staples, groceries, organically sourced wines, and other items. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I love the Whole Wheatery: I usually find what I am looking for and the staff is wonderful. You can ask any question about a supplement and they can answer any question you have. Just love this place.

I love this store. I love Snatchels cafe the food is good whole food. I like how it’s small and not overrun by yuppie a holes.

Best and only all natural organic grocery store in the AV, very overpriced however I understand natural products, unfortunately do cost more. I love all the herbs and shopping here.
