Im very suprised to see theses negative reviews, my niece recently went to Italy and the older man behind the counter was so happy to hear about her story. He's a Vietnam War Vet and was telling us stories about that because my nieces father is stationed in Italy. My dad I guess is the same serious way, hes a Army Vet maybe just misunderstanding. He just came of as serious to me, but if the store got robbed Id want him to be the owner, he seems like he'd know what to do in that situation. :) Just my opinion. The Gelato was amazing too, Ive lived in Portugal for two years and they also serve Gelato it was very good here!!

OMG this has been the WORST coffee place I’ve ever been.
I asked for a capuchino with almond milk. The milk was bad!!!!
The old mand behind the counter is very bitter, negative. I told him I wanted a large capuchino because I had a long drive to LAX. First he said: “ewww, no not a large one. But what ever if that is what you want, don’t said I didn’t warn you”
Then he said: “ I rather have my teeth pulled rather than drive to LAX”

Starbucks or ANY other coffee shop. NOT HERE!!!

The best frozen desert i have ever had this Gelato is way better than ice cream. puts cold stone to shame. those who complain about this artisans attitude maybe should learn manners and proper etiquette.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I don't know if the guy behind the counter was the owner, but I think he is and I will never go back. He was so RUDE! I went in with my friend and son and he seemed like he was irritated because we wanted our Gelato to go. We were not planning on eating it there. Then when we asked for 2 additional to go for my other son and husband at home he asked in a very snide tone, " SO.. you want FIVE gelatos??" The place was empty so you would think he would have been happy to have costumers. We told him never mind just the 3, paid, and left. Thinking back, I should have told him to keep them all and we would take our business elsewhere.

The gelato & coffee are great... As long as you can handle the VERY RUDE man working there. Guy needs to hire someone with some customer experience or learn some himself. The guy just has a really bad attitude towards people... Every time I've been there.

Very rude owner! Made my son cry because he told him to stop putting his hands on the glass...when all my son was doing was pointing at what ice cream he wanted. I said please so not tell my child what to do and he said then leave my store, and I said wow you are not very good at customer service and he said I don't care, there will always be customers. He's also very weird with the Chinese women that works their.....when I came in they were sitting at a table drinking Starbucks drinks (multiple drinks) and writing down notes like as if they were trying to taste the recipe to copy it....I have no idea but they had about ten drinks from their and books and a laptop and taking sips and writing down notes, just seemed very Erie I guess.

Old man that works here is rude to everyone except white people and doesn’t like kids coming in his shop. He thinks he’s all high and mighty making ice cream. Why give money to some who doesn’t respect their customers. Don’t come here unless you want to be degraded.

Amazing Gelato and always nice to see a friendly face. The ones saying the owner is rude have obviously not lived in Lancaster for years! Putting up with the people here is a headache itself. He’s just an old fashioned man! Love him and his creations !

You know what I like about that place? Is how racist the owner is... Wow... What a disappointment...😔What else I can do? He is racist. Here is how it went down. My brother and I with some of his friends wanted ice cream. We waited in line like everyone.Oh yeah! before I forget he treated all the white people like as they were people. Anyways, it was our turn and it was our first time there. Before we even got to choose what ice cream, he rushed us and gave us attitude. My brother friend didn't want ice after that and I was annoyed and my brother too. Honestly, if you want ice cream, go to Sweet frog or Cold Stone.
