I knew of this place through an acquaintance from my doula training. She is now the owner or perhaps co owner. Not 100% sure. Anyways. I love this spot. They have lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. I'm not a coffee drinker anymore but when I take clients here they love the coffee. Their sense of community is fabulous and their staff is excellent. You can't beat this avocado hummus gluten free toast. It goes perfectly with an over easy egg. 😍

Love this cage. The baked egg and tomato dish is excellent....haven't been able to get something like it anywhere else!

Lovely little coffee shop in downtown La Mesa! The space is cozy and the staff is friendly. They have both inside and outside seating.
I've only ordered food once, but the breakfast sandwich was delicious and the coffees have always been pleasant. When I have the opportunity, I like to stop by.

Met a friend here for coffee and the place was bumping for a Tuesday late morning. My coffee was a season drink but very delicious. And the atmosphere was fantastic.

I’m that guy that thinks scones are dry cookies. This place takes it to a new level. Moist, fluffy and so yummy. The butter is crazy too. I had maple cayenne and orange something. Staff is 100% in too. Love it

Just a great place, excellent coffee and scones. The gourmet butters are amazing and with the travels. There is something very special about this place and it's atmosphere that you can't get anywhere else. I was blessed to try this place out.

Scones and flavored butters was awesome! Coffee is good. Open seating indoors and outside. Sat out on a beautiful sunny day in La Mesa under a tree. Nice little jewel next to Swami's.

Stopped in for a coffee and decided to try the scone. It is delicious! They have a selection of flavored butter but since I was walking I didn’t try it. The scone is great by itself. Warm, light, moist, flavorful and with a little sugar on top.

The fig honey butter on the waffles is really good! Nice seating outside to enjoy the cute street vibe. Chi tea was yummy too

Great concept for butter flights and scones. My latte was almost 5 bucks, seems like coffee is getting more expensive.
