Love me some Dark Horse! Starbucks has gone wayyy downhill and DHCR has been my saving grace. The coffee is consistently fresh and delicious. The service is great and the seasonal options are always *chefs kiss*
Never a bad experience here :)

We are in town visiting. This place had great reviews, So we decided to check it out. Amazing!! Everybody was super finally and cheerful. Definitely a place to come back to.

The coffee was good and the service was on point. I came when their baker was on a holiday break so I didn’t get to try pastries but I’m looking forward to visiting again soon!

The coffee here is some of the best I have tried. My favorite drink is The Champ. Their Ethiopean blend whole bean coffee is awesome

Huge Huge fan of the coffee, I always get the Champ extra sweet, but I am not a fan of their closing hours. It forces me to go to Starbucks

Best matcha latte ever! Avocado toast and vegan churro doughnuts are amazing!

Good service but the Americano I got is worse than Starbucks coffee. I worked as a barista for some time and the measurements must be off. Far too acidic leaving that lingering aftertaste and throat feel. Really disappointed dark horse holds a good name.

Great drip coffee and better service!

I love Dark Horse Coffee Roasters and thought I’d try this location as I never had before. I had the cinnamon and honey latte with almond milk and found it up to speed with the quality of other locations but disappointed at the customer service. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but not use to this at Dark Horse. Wont go to this location again as it’s just 2 blocks away from Swami’s where I really enjoy the coffee too and have never had a mediocre experience. Will definitely continue to patronize other locations.

I think we all know by now That S-B's stopped brewing anything that resembled coffee YEARS ago . So having Dark Horse so close to my house was like receiving a gift from the Gods themselves. Thank you DH for showing our little corner of the neighborhood what good coffee is all about.
For the nuts and bolts, their bread and butter is Central and South American plantations, but have always had Ethiopian, for the most part, and are starting to include coffees from Kenya and Tanzania from time to time. The coffee roasting is just fantastic. Sometimes, the Columbian coffee, from a particular plantation is so good, and so special, Juan Valdez will have a few bags flown to him direct.
Okay so he doesn't, but you get the picture.
The coffee is always changing, too. Like a trip around the world. Can't speak much for the coffee beverages. Like going to any place for a mocha, or whatever, let them know how you like it (strong on the mocha, extra hot, etc.). That way, you won't walk away disappointed. All that said, have a nice trip!
