The Simple Coffee House

Wonderful little coffee shop hidden in this little shopping center. Inside has rustic decorations with a record player and record collection! Got the turmeric latte, marshmallow latte and lox bagel. Everything was so good. Professional and kind service. Bit of a line on a Sunday morning but that’s expected for the morning rush. Be patient because it’s worth it!

I dig the creativity of the menu. As someone with an extreme sweet tooth, to see a coffee that has large marshmallows on top of it makes my heart sing! The lox toast has a generous helping of salmon on it, and that squirt of lemon makes it a zingy heaven. Their raspberry scone is too cute with it's pink drizzle, it would have been a shame not to get my mits on it. Love love love the quiet atmosphere. It's a tiny cozy place, like having a comfort meal in a warm happy home.

Simple coffee house. You will not go wrong visiting this place. The prices are some of the best in town and they have legit great coffee. Decided to order their lox bagel for the first time. For under 10 bucks I was sceptical. Turns out it's better than the 20 dollar counterparts at bagel shops. This will be my go to for lox now, as well as coffee. Excellent service and great people. This Mom-and-pop coffee house is a hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall. I visited here on a Saturday morning and the staff were very friendly. The service was fast and the quality of my almond croissant and cappuccino were excellent. The menu has plenty of options, including non-coffee items and the price point is on the more reasonable side of the spectrum for San Diego. Plus, they have a punch card for frequent drink purchases.

Love this little coffee shop. Love the rustic decor - the green plants with the solid wooden tables, love the music and seeing this collection of old vinyls. After 3ish, it gets a bit more lively with the high schools kids grabbing their drinks, but great kids, it's always calm enough to get some work done or catch-up with a friend on the terrace... Love to be there in the sunshine... The owners are always super friendly and so is the staff!

Relaxed vibe with spacious interior. Ladies working were really nice and helpful. They have a pretty extensive menu including boba tea. Coffee was a dark roast and not bad. Pastries are from Bread and Cie. I've heard from multiple people that the Sunset Lemonade is addicting. Their menu includes Holiday and Specialty Drinks.

Small cozy place. Very nice coffees. we had mocha and Nutella latte, they were very tasty and refreshing.
We also took jalapeño bagel with cream cheese, it was warm and yum.
Perfect for post early morning walk or run.

Their Mocha/Mexican hot drink is so delicious. Its sweet just how i like it. I wouldn’t ask anything more or less. The atmosphere is nice the staff is friendly and quick service.

I found this place while on my work trip and it was the perfect place to get a great snack and get some work done. I got the toasted marshmallow latte and an avocado toast. I will definitely be coming back.

Such a great coffee shop in the San Carlos area! Tons of easy parking, great ambiance, and lots of seating indoors and outdoors.

I ordered the lox bagel and it was delicious. Instead of tomatoes, they use cucumbers which is perfect for me since I don't like mine with tomatoes. They put a very generous amount of lox and capers too. I got it on a jalapeño bagel and it was great. I'm definitely coming back just for their lox bagel. I just got a house (black) coffee though so nothing too special, it was good.

Workers here are very friendly and quick! Overall this is a great coffee shop to check out if you're in the area.
