Peet's Coffee

I stopped by for a cup of coffee during my visit to La Jolla. It was afternoon, however not very busy. I got a mocha latte, and it was very basic, and mediocre. There was no good aroma or kick to it, neither any good chocolate taste. They had some baked goods/ snacks as well. I didn’t eat though, so can’t really comment. Overall the place looks cool, but the coffee was mostly disappointing to me.

I had Hibiscus tea and my daughter had a Matcha Latte which she stated was very very good!! The employees were also very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend visiting if you love coffee and/or tea.

1st the coffee was mediocre in my opinion. Then I go use the restroom and it was the most disgusting restroom ever. I've been in truck stops in a better state of police than this. Then I let the gentlemen behind the counter know. He simply walked in with cleaning materials, left it nasty, exited the restroom and started wiping down the counters. Clearly everyone there must be too good to clean a restroom. I took photos and lucky for them I'm not able to post them with this review.

Nice looking Starbucks comprable coffee shop. The flavors aren't quite as strong as I would like. I had to ask for them to remake my drink, they did with no complaints. The service was very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The coffee was delicious as expected from Pete's. Yet, sitting close to the counter where finished coffees and teas were placed I could hear the baristas telling people to be careful of hot tea and telling them how long to steep it for the best flavor. I also heard them address customers by name when they came in. These people really care and were very efficient and on top of everything.

locking doors 20 min before 5:30 closing is not cool

The nitro cold brew is pure at this peets. The head on the cup started strong like it should. Some places serve nitro cold brew with low nitrogen and I don't quite understand why.

Moving away from the brew, the location is solid. There several spots to study, the guys serving coffee are cool, and the place isn't incredibly busy, so it makes for a productive afternoon if you come here for a cup.

Nice latte. Best in La Jolla? So far. Also iced latte good, a little weak go the double shot If you want coffee flavour!

Delicious frappe and fantastic service! The gentleman who took our order was extremely polite and helpful!
