Bird Rock Coffee Roasters - La Jolla

This location has been my initial stopping spot every time I arrive in San Diego, for the last 5 years or so. They no longer seem to process orders in which they are taken. I still love Birdrock as an initial walk about. At least there is a Starbucks across the street which is where I will go next time.

Pretty good coffee! Only gripe I have is that they give you so little!!! Although the prices are reasonable for what you get. They were people coming in nonstop but we didn't have to wait long for our drinks.

Good coffee! I would rank it pretty high and I have lived in Europe and had coffees around the world. Good beans and know what they are talking about. Cool vibe. Nice equipment

This place sets the bar pretty high. Not only is their espresso absolutely delicious, the service is fast and friendly too. It is clear that the staff really understand how to many good, flavorful espresso.

Located in the middle of downtown Bird Rock, the coffee is good and reasonably priced. It’s very popular with locals, so sometimes they run out of proper seating. Fortunately there are plenty of ledges to perch on, both inside and outside the garage-door style windows.

We got the horchata latte and the honey b latte. Tbh it tasted like watered down milk.

Good coffee place. I'm not much of a coffee connoisseur but it has to be good for this place to have a good line. I definitely recommend ordering online and skipping the line entirely. I got the iced vanilla bean. Not too bad. A bit pricey.

This place use to be my favorite place. The coffee is great! I just wish they would start taking cash again. Two years ago it was due to Covid, and now it's still in place here. Oh well, sad they don't take cash.

You will feel the real coffee taste from the first sip. Good coffee, friendly staff and a lovely relaxed casual atmosphere.
