Epic Café

Ambiance was great outdoors--there was plenty of seating under the shade of some trees and flowers all around. Paninis were excellent and not overly oily. You get to pick a well-made salad to go with the paninis as well. Overall a delicious and very enjoyable meal.

The food at the Epic Cafe is just fantastic and healthy. We have had the panini, hummus, and tabouleh along with the delicious carrot cake and apple cake. It is so great that the Epic has veggie options. Linda and David are gracious hosts and the staff is friendly and efficient. The outdoor seating overlooking Mono Lake is special too. What a win for Lee Vining!!

Wow, not to be missed if you are driving thru town! Amazing food and very friendly and fun people working there. The weather was nice and we relaxed and had food in the garden area while enjoying their very friendly black lab Duke/Dude playing with some kids. The Panini sandwiches we had were awesome! Oh, and the Kale caesar salad was unique and very tasty.

We had breakfast at the Epic Café after a one-night stay in Lee Vining and were very satisfied with everything! The staff was friendly and personable, the food was great and the garden area right next to the café is an excellent spot to enjoy your breakfast. Although we only had breakfast here, we still think that the lunch and dinner is just as good!

The food was excellent and very tasty. I am gluten free and the staff was extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere was friendly and fun and lively. I would give them a higher than 5 stars if I could.

Delicious, healthy food in an upbeat atmosphere. Customer service is extraordinary. Prices are a little steep but support healthy options and happy staff. Might not be one of my most favorite places but I would happily go back the next time I'm in Lee Vining.

I got a spinich strawberry salad and a three hummus platter wich were both great with fresh vegies and sweet strawberries. I have to say the specials were a bit high priced and my salad's dressing was a bit too salty, but the ambience was amazing and the customer service was great. I strongly recommend going here at dark.

Absolutely epic. Cute place with great menu and prices. We ate dinner - had beer, wine and paninis with salads, and also an unbelievable carrot cake! Above all, we were provided with gluten free food and the staff made sure it's all clean and safe for us. Thank you.
