Epic Café

Lovely view. Lovely staff (David is very good at remembering customer's names), lovely food. Only knibble is that there were no hot vegetarian dishes available on the day I visited, and the cup of tea I had was expensive (more than $4). The fruit pie is perfect (not overly sweet or salty like many places) and they even serve it with milk if asked!

Food was pretty good, staff was friendly. I got the veggie omelet which was tasty. My wife got the bagel and lox which she really enjoyed.
Coffee was really good as well.
If you enjoy eating outside as we do, beware; there are yellow jackets and they will try and eat your breakfast.

Way overrated. The food just seemed over-seasoned. The two stars is for the nice location and decent vegan soup. Stay away from the 'epic Caesar' salad unless you're a big fan of super vinegary salad dressing. The brown rice veggie dish was just too sweet as was the honey dresssing for the green salad. Too bad, I really was excited to find this place with healthy options.

After cooking at camp a few nights we wanted to treat ourselves to a tasty dinner. The tri tip steak was delicious as was the brownie to finish off the meal. The staff were also super chill and fun to talk to. Highly recommend this spot if you happen to be passing through.

My family has vacationed in Bridgeport for over 50 years and this is the best food within a three hour radius in any direction. You can’t go wrong with anything you order for breakfast or lunch. There is obviously tons of attention paid to the quality of each dish or baked good. The outdoor seating is beautiful and has a gorgeous view of Mono Lake and the mountains. We come every year :)

Do not miss out on this delightful to-go cafe in June Lake. Call your order in advance or go inside to the counter wearing a properly fitted mask and place your order. Seating is available outside. Since I have a wheat allergy, I was pleased to find that I could have a paninni on gluten-free bread. Sandwich orders come with either soup or two choices of salad. I chose the tuna melt with provolone and the spinach, strawberry, walnut and feta salad with a tangy homemade dressing. It was absolute perfection! Another day, I hesitated to order their quinoa salad because I often make this at home. My friend insisted that it was the best quinoa salad ever. She was right. This quinoa salad included 3 different types of beans. They provide plenty of variety with their quinoa salads. They also make a curry quinoa salad with a creamy coconut dressing. They don't open till 11 a.m.but you can see the bakers in the windows merrily creating bakery items (sadly not allowed in my diet) starting at 7 a.m.! Also, I am impressed that they only use compostable containers. Everything they make is perfect and fresh. Truly this is a treasure trove in this tiny mountain town. Their secret ingredient is love!

Super delicious and healthy food! Desserts are scratch made daily and out of this world!! The atmosphere is very warm and inviting and dining outside in the garden yard is romantic and nostalgic. Sipping on wine outside by the flowers watching the bunnies hop around warms my heart. ❤

Good healthy options. All homemade! Try the lemonade.

Hands down the best food I’ve had in June lake and I’ve been coming for years

FUNKY, FUN, and DELISH! This spot is a hidden gem, well, maybe not so hidden considering its ratings are off the charts (but they deserve it). We stopped into this sweet little restaurant on our way home from June Lake. The food was a veggie lovers paradise with multiple options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. The hummus was amazing, the grilled veggie plate was fab, and the fresh mozz, tomato, and basil grilled cheese was incredible. Go here, eat things, you will love it!
