Blk Dot Coffee

Service: 10/10, quick, nice and asked to warm up croissant for me.
Pastry/Croissant: 8/10 amazing almond croissant. I wanted 2 however they only had 1 left. Not many food item choices.
Coffee: 8/10 good taste, very hot, didn’t have choice to have Latte served in a mug when dining in.
Location: 7/10 nice clean location tucked away in the corner. Weird that a corner bakery was maybe 50 steps away.
Ambience/View: 8/10 beautiful fountain outside with outdoor seating in clean, Irvine, California.
Menu: 8/10 a lot of coffee drink choices but not many pastry/ breakfast food item choices.
Price: 9/10 good value for the hot coffee

I have gone to and loved blk dot for over a year now, probably ordered the CAB 10+ times, and have always had a pleasant experience. That said, today I ordered from a younger gentleman at the blk dot location at the marketplace in Tustin. He was very friendly on the phone, but in person when I picked up my food, 1/4 of the bagel was missing cream cheese. When I politely asked him about it, he said he would have to charge $2.25 for cream cheese, even withstanding the fact that it should come that way considering we’ve never had an issue before and paid almost $11 per bagel + a $5 tip. I then proceeded to say I’ve ordered the cab many times before and never had the issue and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away very dismissively. I am left feeling very dissatisfied with two bagels ($25+) that had a majority of the cream cheese missing and a bad experience. I’m very disappointed…

I'm a Vietnamese coffee fa-na-tic.... I've only found brew worthy of drinking in one place, but Blk Dot now makes #2!!

The coffee was amazing, there's a ton of different options, plus you can get your coffee in a convenient bottleso you don't have to carry a cup around all day OR you can put it in the fridge and enjoy it later. I had to cut mine with just a bit of water because it was really rich, but that is totally worth it because they've nailed the taste and the smoothness perfectly.

I didn't get to try the avo toast, if it's anything like the coffee its knock out amazing.

The shop has a really great vibe. Lots of people were studying while enjoying their brew and the price was reasonable.

The Spanish Latte is wonderful but I give them 1-star because they don’t provide calories information on their menu. I think FDA requires chain restaurants and coffee shops to provide this information. If you don’t respect us, then 1-star is enough.

The light vietnamese coffee was quite strong. I can only imagine what the non light version must've tasted like. The white chocolate mocha was absolutely average.

VTM iced or hot.. you can’t go wrong. I would preorder through the app, the staff knew I got there around 8 and my coffee would always be ready and steaming hot! Everyone here is awesome! They greet you by your name and we slowly got to know each other. Everyone here is so sweet and and friendly! I wish you guys would open a location in Cerritos and work there too!

Best drink if you are a coffee and a tea lover or maybe just want something else—— find it here!! Hard to find this combo anywhere else I think. Ask for an Oolong milk tea with a shot or tea of espresso!!! (Sweetness to your tasting)

Excellent combo! Gives the rich earthy tea flavor an upgrade with the subtle richness and bitterness of espresso.

Tucked away in the corner near the theater, this location has good coffee and fairly fast service when ordering just coffee. Ordered a bacon breakfast sandwich and it took more than 20 minutes. The breakfast sandwiches are ok. The bread was a bit too sponge-like for me to enjoy.

This place is awesome. The original VTM coffee just the way they make it is awesome. Really much better than Starbucks in my opinion.

Best avocado toast I’ve had. Crunchy, toasted bread with excellent ripe avocados and a perfect amount of pepper. Drinks were just as amazing with ceremonial grade Uji matcha. Drinks pictured are Iced caramel macchiato with almond milk (left) and a green tiger (right) 10/10
