CUP by Blue Hummingbird Coffee: A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers
If you're looking for a cozy coffee shop with a unique selection of specialty micro lot coffees and beverages, CUP by Blue Hummingbird Coffee is the perfect spot for you. Located in the Novel Park neighborhood of Irvine, this coffee shop is a hidden gem that offers a delightful experience for coffee lovers.
The coffee served at CUP is top-notch, and the baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a variety of options to choose from, including pour overs and iced Americanos. Customers have praised the coffee for its unique and flavorful taste. The Potato Rosemary & Onion scone is a must-try, and the croissants are flaky and buttery heaven.
The coffee shop has no indoor seating, but there are plenty of outdoor tables in front of the store. The green areas around the coffee shop are perfect for relaxing and enjoying your coffee. However, some customers have noted that it can be a bit odorous due to the presence of dogs, as some dog owners like to bring their pets inside the store despite the signage.
The staff at CUP is super friendly and helpful. They are always willing to answer any questions and make recommendations. The coffee shop is a great place to hang out within the community and support a small business. However, parking can be a bit challenging and the prices are a little high.
If you're in the Novel Park neighborhood, CUP by Blue Hummingbird Coffee is definitely worth a visit. It's a nice area to take a small walk around and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee.

Cup Coffee is a hidden gem in East Irvine. I frequently go here in the morning due to the great neighborhood coffee shop vibe.
The cold brew is my favorite drink, but the other hot beverages are great too! The pastries amazing and I recommend the pistachio croissants and donuts.
The team is very friendly and provide top notch service.
*Tip* - If you buy a coffee tumbler for $20 it includes 10 free coffee refills that can be used over the coarse of many visits. It’s a great deal!
Highly recommend!

I found this place while googling for a coffee shop near my house.
A coffee shop in a place like this???
The location was a bit odd to myself.
By the way, when I visited today, I could understand why there is a coffee shop in this location.
On the other hand, I also thought that the owner of a business by opening a coffee shop in such a housing complex was really smart.
Anyway, in a word, this place is like a hidden gem.
When I arrived here, I ordered an Iced Americano and a Potato Rosemary & Onion scone to eat together.
There were no tables inside the store, only outdoor tables in front of the coffee shop.
Both the Iced Americano and the scone were really good!
I was so satisfied! 👍👍👍
I will definitely come back soon and try other coffees and pastries.

Small hideaway that I imagine is perfect for local residents. No seating inside but on a gorgeous day you have access to large green areas and outdoor tables. Tons of dogs mingling around while waiting for the owner's joe!

CUP is amazing for quality coffee. If you're the kind of person who likes being able to taste coffee, their pour overs are amazing and they have a variety of options to choose from. Not really a sit-inside kind of place, but there are plenty of places outside to sit and relax, and it's a nice area to take a small walk around as well. The employees are awesome as well! :D
God Bless
Awesome location inside of million dollar house ! Great customer service and awesome coffee
Note : hard find parking / little pricey

Love the convenience of having a coffeeshop in the Great Park neighborhoods. This isn't your typical coffeeshop. It's great to see the team bringing in roasts and pastries from local businesses. I'm discovering bakeries from LA I would have never known about!

It has been a much loved addition to our neighborhood. We enjoy weekend mornings chatting with the friendly staff, enjoy sipping on one of our favorites, Blue Hummingbird drip coffee, eating a number of delicious pastries from local bakeries, chatting with neighbors, and making new friends. It is the neighborhood coffee shop feel that reminds me of our former life in downtown Chicago where locals would meet and chat at the corner coffee spot.

Great coffee, but not super safe for folks with allergy/asthma. Dog owners seem to like taking their pets into the small place inside in spite of signage and wait there. Had a lung spasm waiting next to one. It was a bit odorous.

Such a cute coffee shop with so many furry friends around! There’s plenty of tables and chairs to do some reading and even lounge chairs to relax. We LOVE the cold brew latte with oat milk and the selection of pastries are unique and so good! I’m grateful to live in a neighborhood that has such cute area to have a cup of coffee :)
