CUP by Blue Hummingbird Coffee: A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers
If you're looking for a cozy coffee shop with a unique selection of specialty micro lot coffees and beverages, CUP by Blue Hummingbird Coffee is the perfect spot for you. Located in the Novel Park neighborhood of Irvine, this coffee shop is a hidden gem that offers a delightful experience for coffee lovers.
The coffee served at CUP is top-notch, and the baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a variety of options to choose from, including pour overs and iced Americanos. Customers have praised the coffee for its unique and flavorful taste. The Potato Rosemary & Onion scone is a must-try, and the croissants are flaky and buttery heaven.
The coffee shop has no indoor seating, but there are plenty of outdoor tables in front of the store. The green areas around the coffee shop are perfect for relaxing and enjoying your coffee. However, some customers have noted that it can be a bit odorous due to the presence of dogs, as some dog owners like to bring their pets inside the store despite the signage.
The staff at CUP is super friendly and helpful. They are always willing to answer any questions and make recommendations. The coffee shop is a great place to hang out within the community and support a small business. However, parking can be a bit challenging and the prices are a little high.
If you're in the Novel Park neighborhood, CUP by Blue Hummingbird Coffee is definitely worth a visit. It's a nice area to take a small walk around and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee.

Convenient neighborhood coffee shop. Not your average quick stop for coffee or pastries. They are always serving up something new from unique mixed cold brew drinks to coveted pastries like vegan donuts or Rye Goods pastries (have you seen the lines at their shop in Newport?) All products are local. I just love this place!

If the staff is this friendly while the coffee is free, how much friendlier can they get when they start to charge you for coffee and treats?
I love stopping by for a quick coffee or tea. The people working there are always so inviting and and fun. I’d like for the cup sizes to be bigger, but I suppose that’s gonna happen soon enough 😉

the "latte" I had yesterday was actually a coffee with milk. There was not a real latte foam at all. Just espresso and the warm milk. The girl who made it said that she was too busy with other orders to do a foam. O_o
They also do not accept cash and take credit card only.

This little coffee shop is exactly what we needed in the great parks. They source amazing coffee from Huskins (we actually drive to Santa Ana to get their coffee). The staff is extremely friendly and they have amazing baked goods. The location is also great next to the dog parks and other relaxing places in Novel Park for a morning with the family! We love heading there to kick start our weekends!

Great local coffee shop with reasonable prices.
I had a meeting nearby and grabbed a coffee from The Cup. The staff was friendly, the coffee was perfect (Flat White) and the price was good. If you are in the area and need coffee - stop here and support a local business.

I am quite pleased there’s finally a coffee shop in the neighborhood. Enjoyed an oat milk iced latte. The biggest surprise were the gluten-free brownie and snickerdoodle cookie. They were both delicious! Starbucks doesn’t carry anything gluten free, so I was quite delighted to have a tasty treat with my coffee. Ella, who works here, saw me struggling walking two dogs and pushing a baby in a stroller, and came outside to help take my order. This has a great vibe to it with all of its outdoor seating. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to coming back!

It’s cozy and convenient, & part of FivePoint master community. Friendly staff, delicious choices of pastries and coffees/teas . A great place to grab hot or cold beverage with friends or neighbors, chill outside and have a social meetup. This is perfect addition for the Great Park. Kudos to the team involved!

Residents of Great Park have been waiting and waiting for retail to open (like a carrot dangling on a stick), so I’m personally rejoicing at the fact we now have a neighborhood coffee shop we can walk to! The baristas (Ella, Annika & Chanhee) are super friendly and The Cup offers a solid section of coffees, teas and breakfast eats. Check it, check it out! ☕️🫖🍩🍪

Looks gorgeous and would love to enjoy it more. Went at 10:30 and they had no food items (pastries) left so left without having anything. If coffee drinks are the only needs then it’s a great place
