Suju's Coffee & Tea

I always love to come here, space is really nice and they also have a outdoor seating too. But today, I havd very bad experience with the cashier there. Her name is Maria, I had my one year old daughter with me. I put her on the counter while i was ordering, she was very well behaved, but touched one banana. Maria was very rude, said "she should not be touching everything". I felt bad, so i bought the banana... I picked my daughter off the counter, pen holder got knocked down to side ways, I was afraid she wouls continue to blame her, I signaled her that i did not want to touch anything. Then she proceed saying " look at the mess you have made"..... in this special time, I really dont think any place would want people like Maria to represent them....

Coffee (Carmel Macchiato) was good and the environment was clean and comfortable. The cashier didn't look like she wanted to be there, but the barista was friendly and had a great smile which made my morning. CUSTOMER SERVICE...need I say more!

One of my favourite place to have hot green tea latte. I know the owner Patel. The team is very kind and good at service. Very well maintained even during this pandemic times.

This coffee shop is a gem. Lots of room. Lots of places to sit or work. Great staff. Broad menu for drinks and food. They even sell an amazing collection of mugs and teapots. Coffee beans. Easy parking.

GREAT coffee & tea, AMAZING sandwiches, no loud music (unlike large coffee chains) - overall an awesome place to work/study and enjoy a snack while you get things done. Added benefit are respectful patrons and friendly staff.

The only challenge is they take forever to clean the restrooms - the average is 30 minutes up to 1 hour to complete the process. They will block of access to both bathrooms when they intend to start, but between cleaning the staff will be doing other things as needed. As a result lots of customers will walk to up use the restroom, wait 5 minutes, and rush off to a nearby business to handle their urgent needs. I'm at a loss as to why this takes so long - other chains usually get this done in less than 10 minutes. Staff usually seem surprised when seeing individuals waiting outside the blockade (sometimes kindly inviting to use the facilities while they finish the other restroom), or ignore with indifference.

So. Many. Good. Pastries.
And the coffee is fantastic! Had to hang out here for a while to kill time between jobs. The vibe is friendly and laid back, the space is open and sunny, AND there are plugs for all of your laptops/gadgets.

Love Suju's. Great coffee and food. The one on Stevenson has so much room for studying. We ordered a ham & Swiss on a croissant and a poppy seed muffin to share. Delicious!!

Everything was great except the lady who takes orders early in the morning during the week (6:30). Man, she is a total crab. I don't expect someone to start a conversation but a "Good morning" would be nice. Instead, I received a glare, which I took as my cue to order. I'm grouchy in the morning too, but I can at least act like a human being and treat people respectfully.

I love their loose leaf teas. My favorite is the lavender rose extra fancy earl grey tea. They also have a good bear claw, cinnamon crumb cake, and lemon poppy seed muffin. Let's not forget the jalapeno bagel with cream cheese. 😊

The environment is quiet and clean. A lot of choices from coffee, tea and smoothies. I ordered a hot chocolate with cream on it, which is ready in minutes. The staff is also very friendly. Great experience.
