Always such a joy to stop by. Wonderful staff, great food and great atmosphere. I usually stop by for coffee on my way to work but occasionally I'm lucky enough to have time to sit down. Highly recommended!

Broken, flavorless hollandaise on chewy Canadian bacon with cold, undercooked potatoes on the side. If you think the green tobasco at the table might save you, you'd be wrong. It seems to be watered down.

The English muffin was, fortunately, cooked well and the egg was only slightly overpoached, although it badly needed some salt.

Not the worst Benedict in Chico, but disappointing in nearly all aspects.

I love Beatniks for so many reasons. Food is awesome, service is great - they have both indoor and outdoor seating. It feels so good to go out have coffee with friends again.

One of the best places for breakfast in town. Everything I've had has been delicious and they have great GF options! Staff is fantastic and it's a great environment.

The portions were much better this time around. The coffee is not bad here. I believe it's from our local Cal Java. Ambiance is wide open, nicely lit with big windows, and very clean. The staff are a hit or miss for me though.

We ordered inside and had an outdoor table. Prices were reasonable, the order arrived fairly quickly and there wss plenty of food. Will eat breakfast here again!

The food looks wonderful and nice sized portions. We were only disappointed in the hollandaise sauce as there seems to be no lemon in it. The sauce was the only thing lacking, other wise we will try something different next time when we get a chance to spend money like that again.

This is my favorite restaurant in Chico! I love the food (all of it), I love the coffee, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are always super friendly. My favorite is the Bongo Benedict or the Huevos. Family friendly and great for small or large parties.

I’m not from Chico so my suggestion to this place is to show that there’s two lines to order from and not just one. From each angle in each line you can’t tell there’s two places to order. Especially since it gets busy. Food is really good though, my boyfriend asked for the breakfast club and it’s directly under “omelettes” on the menu the girl at the register said that it’s not actually an omelette it’s a sandwich but offered to take all the ingredients and make it into an omelette, we agreed and were nervous that it would be an omelette on bread or something but they didn’t, it was an amazing omlette, we appreciated the accommodation and it turned out pretty damn good too. I’d come back to this place every time I returned to Chico!

I hate to say it, but the pancakes are bad, the one thing I look forward to has change. Very little blueberries in the blueberry pancakes. It looks like they are cutting back and the pancakes are very thick with a few berries in the middle. Maybe it’s a new cook, and you now have to tell them you wanted them the old way. I do love the place, but lately it always something.

Not sure if there is a new owner or not, but you can see something has change.
