Peet's Coffee

Friendly staff, fairly quick service. Lots of outlets available on the left side of the cafe for those looking for a computer/phone charge, though seating is limited and a little cramped.

Pete's has the best Coffee and Teas no to mention their delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Good service!

This is a great Peet’s the employees are great and I’m so thankful to have one in Castro Valley. My only issue is the place is smelling more and more like a urinal... I’m not sure if it’s the floors or the bathroom or both but an air freshener and a good overall cleaning would be great! Everything feels sticky...

My 1st time at this location. Covid is largely the reason for 2 stars & the set up was confusing. No direction given by staff & i was 1 of 2 people inside w/ approximately 4 to 5 staff members. The app/pick up orders took priority over in person customer orders, so i waited longer than I had time for , was late for work. Won't be back. Better everything at other locations.

cappuccino at 5:45AM - tasty and just the right amount and texture of foamed milk. perfect for the jetlagged or early morning er.

I love Peet's staff, always friendly. I usually use mobile order and it's pretty accurate with the time. Sunday mornings seem to be busy, but my order doesn't take too long.

In these difficult times, the good people at Peet's handled my order, placed on phone app, perfectly. They have a great setup at the front door and the drinks were both correct and timely...

Unfortunately, my rating and experience with the CV Peets location is not about the coffee, its about the experience, the wait is on average long, finally you are waiting as the next customer and overhearing the cashier is giving out her phone number to a apparently regular customer during ordering while taking on more time discussing personal business ( I know this from all the detail the long conversation going on at the counter). while I am waiting in line behind. On another note, I hope management holds meetings with their staff to discuss not only to be mindful of the customer service to keeping the line moving...but the safety of their young workers as in this case giving out their personal information and their phone numbers even if the customers is a regular..you don't know anything about their background. It just good staff business professional relations!

Great local coffee shop! Everyone who works there is super friendly and laidback. Chances are you'll end up getting to know the people who work here if you end up being a regular. An ideal place to get some studying or reading done. (They also have pretty decent WiFi!)

Nothing beats a hot cup of coffee in a cold morning!
