Old Post Office Cafe

Ordered online, super fast and delicious! We were missing 2 toppings on the potato special we ordered but it was still so good. We'll be eating there again for sure!

Seven in our party. The service was very good and the food was great and at a fair price. We all enjoyed our meals and some had drinks. did not hear any complaints from anyone. A fair sized free parking lot. Next time I am in north Lake Tahoe I look forward to stopping at the Old Post Office Coffee Shop for a great meal.

I know things evolve, but to white wash the restaurant, pop-house music, club lighting. Not everything need to look like an Apple store. This is an old, small diner that our families have been going to for years.

This place is probably pretty good if you don't go to breakfast on a Sunday. We waited for a very long time to be seated, even though our table had been cleared for over 10 minutes. Then we were seated and it took about 10+ minutes to get our drink order in and we also just put our food order in as well. We all ordered coffee and were only given enough creamer for one round of coffees. They brought us refills, but no creamer, so finally someone had to get up and get some. We waited a very long time for our food and watched people who were seated after us eat and leave a couple times. When we finally got our food, it was fine. I got the veggie scramble, which was very average, but good. The house potatoes have no flavor though. You pay at the front, so when we were leaving, the owner? said bye and thank you, but we hadn't paid yet. It would have been easy to dine and dash, which I was thinking about after waiting another 10 minutes to pay. Don't worry, I paid and tipped over 20%. They were very busy.

Enjoyed lunch inside their restaurant this visit. Sat in the front window to enjoy the view. Fast, friendly service. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!

Horrible service and undercooked food. Biscuits raw and doughy. Bacon raw and nasty. Hash brown potatoes more like hash-whites. Never go here! Ugh!

Everything is super delicious here. We have ordered pan cakes with scrambled eggs and potato wedges and veggie omelette. Pan cake were so yummy and were not having taste of baking soda at all which is very rare 😊. Definitely this will be our future trips breakfast restaurant for sure.

Walked into this restaurant and waited 15 minutes for someone to seat us. Nobody talked to us or welcomed us in. After still waiting to be seated, we just left. Terrible customer service.

This has been a weekly favourite for many, many years.

But they have started playing music in the background with WAY TOO MUCH bass. Has become quite unpleasant to sit there.
