Good but very popular place for breakfast in Tahoe

Delicious, homey and filling breakfast burritos! This establishment is newly renovated and has great vibes. There’s even a pet friendly outdoor area to sit and have takeout. The wine and beer selection was impressive - will definitely be going back for brunch/lunch sometime to enjoy drinks and more food :)

For me to give this rating is a shock to me. I'm critical of California, New things and packed places. This place came together like a band with a new sound but had the feeling of the classical beats everyone loves. Great jobs for pleasing one critical guy who just enjoyed it all.

My family and I were really looking forward to trying this place out. But after waiting for our table, we were told that we couldn't bring our French bulldog inside to dine. So we asked to be seated outside and we were told that outside seating was for "covid only"....

Here's the kicker, my family was willing to compromise so my brother and I decided to bring our pup to the dog beach literally across the street while the others had breakfast and they would order take out for us and bring it to us at the beach after they ate. Guess what? Take out/to go orders aren't allowed either.

Carnelian Bay is great for families with dogs, Waterman's, Bcs and Gar are all dog friendly. Skip this place. For context my family and I are also of Asian/Pacific Islander descent. Other reviews have mentioned bring treated poorly due to race. I don't know if its the same for us.

Really enjoyed the food here, typical mountain American fare, just good.

A wait of "just a few more minutes, we're cleaning your table" turned into 50 minutes of never getting seated. Not an awesome feeling when my kids are hungry and watching people cutting in and getting seated before us. Good thing we left and found a super friendly place up the street named Peps.

Fun spot for breakfast/brunch near the water in Tahoe. Lots of combos and options, I liked the breakfast sandwich. Easy parking.

I looked forward to eating here- walked up to the outdoor order window next to the menu they have displayed. The window opens and asks what they can do for us- wanted to place order for breakfast. Nope- not doing outside orders. I explained we are trying to stay Covid safe- may we place a to-go order? Nope- they said, not today. Ok, I’ll take my money elsewhere. How hard is it to put food in a to-go box?

Awesome food and great views

Stood at the door for 15 minutes. No one greeted us. No one let us know that they will be right with us or that there’s a wait list or anything. So we stand there waiting while the bartender looks at us and doesn’t say a word. Then people walk in after us and sit at the bar and she greets them and takes care of them. Then we hear her groan and say very loudly “ UGH NO MORE PLEASE!” Because she saw two cars pulling up. Me and my boy friend are very patient and always tip good so u guys lost good customers. We walked out after that. Very rude!!!!
