Old Post Office Cafe

Great restaurant with nice staff and tasty food. It’s a clean and warm place. Perfect for this raining day. 4 of us came in around 10:30. Got seated right away. Ordered egg Benedict, teriyaki sandwich, California omelette with toasts, Denver omelet with pancake. Everything was delicious.
Highly recommend!

This place was all around amazing! Great food, and friendly service, We got a parking spot and table with no wait on a busy holiday weekend at 9AM! French toast was bomb, bacon was crispy and sausage was tasty and not too greasy like some. Plates were large and plenty filling. The spot itself is really cute, a real Tahoe classic.

They open at 6:30am. Best breakfast if you plan to hit the slopes early. The staff was so friendly and nice in the morning.
We had Californian omelette. It was delicious and just enough calories for the day. Pancakes 🥞 (included) were delicious!
Nice atmosphere. We were very happy to be there. And best of all, it was less expensive than many other places we’d tried. Thank you!

A cozy, traditional American breakfast place. We picked this restaurant for our last Tahoe trip vacation. It was during the labor day weekend. We arrived there around 10am and there was a little wait for the table. We sat in the outdoor area in the rear, which was a comfortable sitting area. The service was good and the food were good as well, nothing fancy, but taste good.

Be prepared to wait at least 20 mins in the busy weekend.

Probably one of the better places to grab breakfast in the area. Lowered rating for a couple reasons, entire party had to be present before seating. The wait for food items to arrive was too long. By the time food was ordered it took 25 mins to get to our table. I’m fearful when this place gets even busier, but does have decent options to choose from.

Had lunch here this past Sunday. We ordered online through their website and picked up our food at the window. My only negative comment is half of the parking lot is really just a bunch of sharp rocks so if you dont have an off-roading vehicle, be careful! That aside, the person handing out pick up orders was very kind, the food was delicious, and even though it's only open for a few hours a day, you can tell its popular because the line for ordering was plenty long.
They have outdoor seating if you're comfortable with how few people wear masks when not eating. We opted to eat in our car. I had ordered the BBQ Western Burger with added grilled onions. Did they need to charge an extra $1.99 for those if they're going to substitute the onions already there? Absolutely not. But the burger was very good. I ordered my son the kids cheeseburger. Both dishes came with fries that were amazing. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

Good value for money! Food was great! Portions (full orders) were huge. Coffee was not watered down (yay!). Servers were awesome. Not as busy as it is lean season but I could imagine how this place can be packed during peak season.

A classic brunch place is what i would call out this restaurant. Had an amazing brunch before we went out skiing and it was good. Amazing staff, good food, good coffee and great service.

Three stars because the service is not great. Had a party of 7 and the waitstaff is trying their best but they do not have a good system. My food came out 30 minutes before everyone else’s and I was done before everyone in my party. They also wouldn’t let us move down in the bar, even though they assured us we would be at the corner on the bar so we could talk to each other. This was not the case and they wouldn’t let us move even though nobody was sitting in the bar at the time. Overall, good food, not good service.
