Bird Rock Coffee Roasters

Bird rock is one of my favorites in San Diego, so I was so excited to see they’d opened one in Carlsbad ! The coffee is amazing and the staff was so sweet ;)

Awesome staff, fresh and piping hot coffee, cold beverage not watered down. Outdoor patio seating was wonderful

Try the Avocado toast... A 3/4 inch thick piece of sour dough with a couple thin slices of avo, a couple thin slices of radish and a few bean sprouts, salt and pepper and a drizzle of lite house dressing reminiscent of a nondescript balsamic taste... I thought, DANG!... Where's the avo...it didn't look like MY avo toast with HALF an avo on just one slice of toast!!! BUT... I took a bite of the Bird Rock version and it was delicious-a-mundo... and with a great cup of Joe as well... I'll be going back. BRCR has a mellow atmosphere, seating outside and comfortable chairs... I didn't get the hours so you might want to call... I'll venture a guess BRCR is open for the morning rush...
BRCR is about a mile east of the McClellan/Palomar Airport just off Palomar Airport Road...

My go to spot for coffee in SD. Too bad they close after 6pm cause I'd really enjoy sitting here at night as well and I think there's enough night traffic coming in and out of the area to do that. Also remember to bring your own cup to get a bit discount for coffee.

Since I travel all around San Diego county for work, I love to give my coffee/breakfast/lunch business to establishments with free guest WiFi. I was excited that this new spot opened near one of my offices and decided to post up here for lunch. Seating inside was scarecrow as-is and the fact that they hosting a team training taking up four seats at the inside bar was super annoying. My colleague and I squeezed into a tiny round table with two laptops, drinks and two entrees.and it was less than cozy. To make make worse the WiFi was spotty at best. I would’ve hopped a coffee shop would invest in decent guest WiFi. Until they do, I guess I’m headed back to Peet’s.

The cold brew that came with the whole beans I bought is delicious 👌👌 the coffee I made via french press was also spot on. The beans are pricey but worth it. Will definitely come back.

Social coffee spot. Great atmosphere after yoga and before shopping. Great location. Has food. All of the above.

Wow. So good. So good. Super friendly. 🔥 Pit outside. Columbia, Ethiopia, Borboya, Ecuador, and Finca Carolina were the responsibly, fair traded coffee offered here today. So good. Can't say enough.

Fantastic place with brilliantly well made drinks and an inviting, helpful staff. I bought a beanie and a beer glass. Will be back next time I'm in California!

Service is excellent! Pour over coffee is absolutely delicious- just a tad pricy. Nice ambiance, great addition to the Bressi Ranch area.
