Super cute and popular coffee shop. Prices fit the area, a single-origin black coffee was $4. Plenty of indoor seating and some really nice outdoor areas as well! Located in a busy shopping center so parking is difficult.
Very friendly people and clean store. Coffee was strong and good, though not nearly the best I’ve had. Lots of stuff for sale from shirts to bags of beans. Good wifi. Quiet enough for work!

From the outside, this place was clearly poppin' w/ the locals. They roast their own beans, check. Buy a bag of beans and get a free drip, check. Barista poured my drip with zero room, check. Coffee was aromatic and hot. Each sip, quite flavorful. Starbucks made going out for coffee cool, Bird Rock took that torch and ran with it.

Visiting here was a 10/10 experience!
First of all, the gentleman at the counter was more than helpful. He took extra time to helps us find which coffees we'd like and made sure to get the sauces for my sandwich on the side since I wasn't sure if I'd want them.
Both our coffees were delicious! My breakfast sandwich was fantastic.
Highly recommend!

I had the opportunity to go here a few times while I the area recently. Busy and bustling atmosphere, highly competent baristas, good pastries and good coffee. I went more than once, and would go again if in the area.

I don’t often write negative reviews, especially now when so many businesses are struggling with staffing. Plus this location has hired a lot of new staff recently, so I gave it some time before writing this review.

I come here everyday, sometimes twice! I just cannot deal with the service anymore, and I’m going to have to find a new spot. My drink ticket was lost, then I got placed behind all the other beverages on the bar, and no apology for the wait. This morning my drink was placed 4-5 drinks after people who were in like behind me and ordered after me.

The coffee is always fine, but you can be waiting her for 20-30 minutes for one beverage even on a slow day. The food has always been awesome, but it’s not worth the frustration.

Solid choice. Highly quality beans. Quick service. Their breakfast burritos are amazing too. Large Luna cold brew and a breakfast burrito, and I'm a happy guy. My wife loves the vanilla lattes as well. Great atmosphere for a coffee shop.

Honestly, I can't decide if I love this Bird Rock location so much because of the delicious coffee, or because of the incredible staff working here! Coffee (drinks) are always perfect and beautiful. Bird Rock lattes are my absolute favorite. Smooth, creamy, rich nutty flavor, perfect amount of foam, AND beautiful! Seriously. My husband loves their coffees (brewed varieties change daily). The pastries and food are great too.

Ok, but in truth, it's the coffee team working here that makes it so special... wow! Genuine, warm, caring, calm ... real. I don't care how busy or frantic, they always smile and greet us warmly. They look us in the eye and never rush us to get on to the next customer. I love that you can see them brewing your coffee, and even the person cooking in back. You can tell the team gets along well and enjoys their jobs. In addition, questions I've had about the different beans have always been answered intelligently and thoughtfully. Whoever does their hiring is spot-on and to be congratulated. They have found some real gems.

Long story short? Come visit and stay awhile. Have an amazing cup of coffee along with a wonderful smile; both of which will brighten your day. That's what makes this our favorite north county coffeehouse and keeps us coming back! :) :) Sorry I don't have a picture of this morning's latte to attach to this review. Next time!

Tasty breakfast selections and great coffees plus tea and other beverages! Busy during our visit but food was delivered in a suitable time and was delicious. I ordered the breakfast burrito served in a bowl (no tortilla for me). Friendly service as well; cannot use cash…use credit card or pay with app! Try it, think you’ll like it!

Smooth, flavorful, and correctly made! We travel to find the greatest coffees of the world and this definitely a place we will return too!

The coffee is great and they people working there are really cool. They are friendly and fast. The inside is not really set up well, too cold too. But that's just my opinion.
