Love Birdrock coffee, love the food, love the people! But, unfortunately this is the slowest coffee shop in SD. I’m not requesting Starbucks fast, I’m talking local roasting coffee shops and cafes. Multiple times I’ve been in there and the employees are moving at pre-bird rock coffee slowness. Speed it up one notch... happy to change my review if I see improvement.

Friendly staff, great environment, and delicious coffee! Would definitely recommend Bird Rock Coffee to all coffee lovers in the Bressi Ranch area. There is also a good amount of indoor and outdoor (dog friendly) space to get some work done or catch up with some friends. I saw in other reviews that the wifi was an issue for some people, but it worked fine for me (indoors).

If big, corporate, sugared-down coffee is your thing, then Bird Rock isn't for you. Bird Rock offers quality coffee and tea, made the way it was meant to taste. I do wish they'd offer a better selection of food for those with dietary restrictions/allergies but that's not why I took off a star. Their service isn't very friendly... and I think it's because I don't look like your typical "Bressi Ranch housewife." Oh well.

Accidentally ordered my drink to another location - like a dummy - but the staff were very kind and even offered to make my drink anyway. Great service, delicious coffee.

Wow. Very impressed with their coffee. Specifically their Kiri peaberry. Never ever had a coffee that was sweet and not sour or bitter without anything added. It was almost as sweet as lemonade! One Downer, their WiFi didn't work. Hopefully they can fix it and I'd stay longer trying another coffee.

Great conversation and introduction into the local roasting scene. Jeff is a great barista and host. Colombia and Ethiopia pour overs for the win. Light roast business! Lovely and shaded seating outside. Awesome signage in support of COVID mitigation. Take out only. Keep up the good work staff!

Great first experience here. I'm particular about my coffee and the gal at the counter was happy to accommodate my request. What we ordered was a bit indulgent, and/but really tasty.
Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Ordered breakfast here this morning. Coffee was very good quality prepared very well. My breakfast sandwhich was pretty good a little on the soggy side of things but tasted fresh. A little pricey for what it was as well.

Always a great cup of coffee and some top notch food. It's not cheap, but that's not my gripe... my only issue is the water dispenser. There is a copper coil that winds down from the ceiling to a complicated spigot that is very industrial and not designed to be intuitive and obvious. It took me at least a full minute to figure it out and literally asked for backup from my table because I was so confused. This is my one and only very small gripe, honestly I'd give them a 4.9 star but that wasn't an option.

The cold brew was undrinkable. The worst I’ve ever had. I ended up throwing it away after just a few sips rather than continue to endure the truly awful taste. Plus my group of 4 people waited over 25 minute for our drinks. I definitely won’t be returning.
