What a great find. Great breakfast. Home made sausage Patty. Hash browns done just as I light great coffee. Friendly pro staff. Love it

Have been here 3 times , service first 2 times was excellent even though both times was super busy food came out quick and servers were a delight. Came today earlier in the morning and it was a bit more empty but service was a lot slower and waitress would forget things we asked for or let things run out. Overall food is good and people are friendly.

Great local restaurant with pleasant service and great food. I have eaten here twice for breakfast, and both times were awesome. The omelets are phenomenal! If available, try the fresh strawberry shortcake! You will not be disappointed!

My first time to this hidden gem in Bakersfield. Clean and lovely, with everything made on site, you will love the menu, portions and service in a classic setting that's like being home. Love them, returning soon.

Service was very good, but the server was too busy to chat with us, but not the regular customers. Both of us were in the restaurant business for a number of years and like to get servers opinions and suggestions on food choices and such.
Otherwise, this was an outstanding visit.
Update - rated the pumpkin pancakes a 3. The special topping was fantastic. The pancakes themselves mediocre. To make matters worse, they were 9 bucks. Everything as a package was reasonably priced, just real expensive for pancakes.

The food was delicious no complaints there .
I was SHOCKED when we got our bill and it was 50.00 for 2 breakfast meals that is INSANE 2.50 for a cup of coffee SERIOUSLY???????

House smoked pastrami was amazing, came on a local, Pyrenees, soft roll. The peanut butter pie (equates to a slice of pie, but comes in the whole crust!) on the housemade, flaky crust is to die for!!! So delicious! Milt, I never knew you've got it this good in the kitchen, keep it up! Yum!

Really good service and the food is good. Their menu looks great and I enjoyed the sit-down diner feel with the novelty. I came at a weird time when no one was there but the staff was friendly nonetheless. I got the chicken fried steak dinner and it was the perfect amount of food. There are definitely loyal customers here so I'll be back for breakfast some day.

This place is great. We had the fried chicken and the chicken fried steak, and they were both excellent. Our waitress (Angie) was very nice and kept our tea glasses full. Food and service were both great. I'd call this place a win/win for anyone looking for a cozy place to have a great, homestyle meal.

Fun coffee shop so we thought as we were waiting for our food we noticed how super clean the restaurant was. The service was teamwork to make sure every table was taken care of. The final touch good food. Yep we will return again for sure!
