KK's Cafe

Perfect example of "you can't judge a book by it's cover". Have driven past several times over the years, not even considering stopping to eat there. It is an old place in an industrial area. A co-worker took me to lunch there recently. I was impressed by the personal attention and great tasting food. The biggest surprise was that you get a dessert with your meal. I had a piece of peach cobbler that was homemade style, not a pre-packaged, previously frozen dessert like most places serve nowadays. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

I've only been there once since the new owners took over. It was the usual standard fare but service was spotty and it took a long time to get our food, which generally doesn't bother me but we had someplace to be this time. I'll go back if I'm around there.

Once again they didn't let me down. Good ole breakfast 🍳 and lunch.

Stopped to have some radio work done next door. I inquired about KK's and the tech said they're great. He was right!
Food is delicious at a great price and the staff are great!!!
I'll be stopping by on my trips through Bakersfield.

Service was good but food quality has gone downhill. Probably due to new staff. This is an OK place due to its location and a generally quiet atmosphere.

Outstanding! The perfect fast breaker. If you're rowdy-hungry , the 5egg omelet will tame you and I personally guarantee that you'll get personal, sweet and courteous service. Tell em "Fred said"

5out of 5. I stop by every once in a while after work in the morning. And ill tell you what, its worth it.

Good food, huge portions, great service!

I waited over 5 minutes for the server to ask what I wanted to drink .After she brought my drink to the table I waited another 8 minutes for her to take my food order. After starting my meal which was scrambled eggs & cheesy grits I found brown matter inbeded in the eggs and onion bits in the grits. So cross contamination can be a danger to people with food allergies. Good luck eating here..

We frequent this Cafe. Owner is great and the waitresses are awesome. We usually go after church so there are usually around 15 of us. We have never been disappointed.
