Delicious food. The eggs are a little hit and miss being the way they are cooked but the pastries are to die for. Its a little expensive but that is because all the food is locally produced and quality tends to cost a little more. Very cute French bistro that is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

Excellent baked goods. Their French bakes are just amazing. Absolutely worth a visit.
They have my favorite coffee in town, pair that with a fantastic location on the plaza for just being in the thick of whatever is going on.

The waiter Heather was very rude and impolite. The entire time sitting at the restaurant our party felt as if we were bothering her. Heather brought out wrong drinks to our table. Heather demanded us how much we had to tip her. The manager was awesome he was very much appreciated he did all he could do to satisfy our group. Her customer service was horrible and I would not eat there again for that very reason.

Really good coffee and pastries here. Feels like you walking into a place in a large city. Great character and charm. Great place meet up with friends and family. I personally went there for a business meeting and was very great experience. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Best fries I have ever had!!!! Super friendly staff. Food was delicious. Only downside is that pastries are over priced.

The food, coffee, breads, and baked goods...THE BEST place to eat in Arcata!!!
Make sure you get the focaccia. It's so soft and yummy...dreaming of it now...

Pretty pricy but good café. The cappuccino was solid, the croissant the two poached eggs and one slice of ham ($11) was fine but kinda dry since they don’t offer any sauce besides hot sauce and ketchup. They ran out of mayo and I was twice recommended to put hot sauce on my croissant which I thought was distasteful and not fitting. Are you guys so desensitized that you need to put hot sauce on literally anything?

A unique French twist in the middle of Arcata. This is a must stop for breakfast brunch. Haven't had a chance to do lunch but we always stop there for breakfast as it's very unique. The pastries are amazing the breads are awesome and really yummy coffee.

The food at Brio is excellent, the coffee is better. You better be patient, it takes a long time, even if you just order a cup of coffee and nothing else. They hand drip each cup and you can tell, so it is usually worth a wait. The staff however can be very hit and miss, the service is their biggest downfall. In fact, I don't think they even know what customer service is. The front dining area is not cleaned enough, and the flys are disturbing. I occasionally go for the coffee and to remind myself how disappointed in the service I am. I wish they would hire someone to teach them quality customer service to match their excellent baking and coffee skills.
