Café Brio

Burned espresso, burned milk. Ordered a cortado, asked specifically for body temperature and the milk was scalded. The espresso tasted burned.

Nice outdoor seating. Great single origin coffee. Croque Monsieur was a bit pricey for what you get. Probably better to go for coffee/dessert than a meal.

They really didn't go together. But oh so many detective choices from meals to pastries and beyond. Pretty good brunch crowd, so not the place if you are in a hurry. But if you like yor coffee in a ceramic cup or mug this is the place.

Cute place. Loved that they had outdoor seating. Was not thrilled that when I asked to add some cheese to the eggs that they couldn’t because it wasn’t an option on their computer. Seriously?

We got a burger and fries and a nice sandwich. We also picked up a giant chocolate chip cookie to go. It is nice to sit outside and relax and they call your name and you can pick up your food.

We ordered a few items and then had to hit the road. 50 miles later we discovered that we were shorted one chocolate croissant and one cookie. The food is good but count your order before you leave!

I love their bacon rosemary potato tarts. And chocolate dipped strawberries. They're crazy Amazing.

I come here regularly and love it. The coffee is always excellent, the pastries are delicious (love the lemon cream tart), and the breakfast food is simple and tasty, if not a wee bit pricey. But overall an excellent establishment. The cashiers and baristas are also very friendly and accommodating.

Probably best to look at photos of what you want before ordering. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, but didn't get much of a sandwich. It was just 2 slices of toast + bacon + 2 eggs. Otherwise, food was delicious!

Not sure if they always operate this way or if it's only due to COVID, but as of now you go up to the counter to order your food and drinks, and then they call our your name over a loudspeaker when each element is ready. Both the food and the drinks were quite good, but the drinks came out so far ahead of the food that they were gone and/or cold by the time the food was ready. It made it slightly less enjoyable as a whole dining experience.
