Stopped in for a coffee and tea and picked up a quiche for a snack. The service was awesome! Definitely the place to go on the Arcata Plaza for a quick bite or caffeine!

Small amounts of food for a high price. Pancake batter wasn't mixed. Potatoes were hard and scrambled eggs weren't scrambled just stuck together and overcooked. Non informative of what's on the menu for specific days of the week. Ordered the classic with sauce and wasn't told the sauce is only available on weekends till after it came to the table. They weren't willing to do a refund and didn't ask what they could do to help/make it better etc ..bad service

The food was delicious except the burger was under done they did replace it. No additions no deletions no exceptions.

Food was good, but I came here to get some work done and they don’t provide any sort of WiFi whatsoever. I assume it’s to increase turnover, but the place was not even close to full. After paying $20 for potatoes and eggs, a piece of toast, and a coffee, then 20% tip to place my order at a counter, pickup my food when it’s ready, then bus my table, and a 3% employee surcharge, I guess I expected to at least be able to get some work done. Sat on the patio and had an unnerving encounter with a homeless person. Overall good food, but wouldn’t go back.

Excellent pastries and strong coffee. We had the omlette, blueberry buckwheat pancakes, and poached eggs. They only serve poached but you can have them over greens, in puff pastry, or with potatoes. The lines are long during peak times but worth the wait.

One of the reasons why I continue to live here in Humboldt County ... coffee is almost always on point, service is friendly, if you are a regular you are recognized as such but not overly so... if I didn't live here this kind of place would make me want to (besides the redwoods and other natural beauty of the area...). Bread is better than a lot of places in France, and their croque Madame/Monsieur never disappoint. A must if you're going to be in downtown Arcata!!

So far no food has disappointed. The coffee was very delicious and well described on the board. I wish they opened the second cashier as there’s ALWAYS a long line. Not many great gluten-free options. Very much enjoy this place.
