Good range of cafe offerings for lunch. The Humboldt burger was juicy and the pickles were particularly tasty. My wife had the egg and bacon croissant sandwich. Pretty large croissant and thick cut bacon. The best part was our friendly dog could hang out on the patio with us.

Stopped by for lunch, note most seating is outside. Nice wine selection as well as sparkling water choices, grab and go items sell out quick. Grilled cheese was a treat!

I've always enjoyed eating here but today was another matter. I understand it was graduation weekend but I waited 45 minutes for my small to go order. Will not be returning for a while...

They try for the French experience, with close enough results. Being from Paris, I can be picky. Yet. It's a great place for a hybrid of French meets USA food, with some dishes one cannot get elsewhere in Humboldt. So overall. A good place.

Well known for their fantastic coffee and baked goods, this review is actually for their new dinner menu! I'm not sure if people don't know about it yet, but this is a fantastic spot Tuesday through Sunday to catch dinner! I have eaten there several times and not been disappointed. literally no crowd and no wait while other restaurants downtown are packed. The salmon, the halibut, the macaroni and cheese, the salads, the rotating specials, All quite good.

The bread we got with our omelettes was really good. Thought the seasonal omelette would have more veggies. It was just asparagus. We will lask next time what the seasonal veggies are.. pricey lesson learned.

Great place to chill out and enjoy some fancy eats. They aren't cheap for sandwiches and pastries but they can rival some of the big city cafes I have been to no problem. I love the avocado grove, but all the sandwiches have been awesome. Coffee is always good, and you can grab a loaf of many kinds of bread while you are here too. Their desserts are crazy delicious, and look like art all on their own. I have never been unhappy with the food, occasionally the service can be slow but the place is always jammed packed when I am here. The few times I needed anything extra or changed it was not a problem!
A year later in 2019, I am still impressed by the food and service. They have updated the facility, have non gendered bathrooms and food is still great.

Ordered lunch today. Grilled cheese sandwich for my 6 year old and it was probably the tastiest food we got. Also ordered a lunch omelet with salad and it was not worth the $13 they charged. The salad was all wilty and brown and there was little to no dressing on it. Mind you we ordered one for both my husband and I. The desserts were pretty tasty, we ordered the lemon bars and sticky bun. Fries were also ok. Will not be returning.

A high quality cafe with delicious bakery’s goods, high quality food, and delicious coffee!
This place is always very busy, and pretty trendy! It’s a fun place to be and run into people to have lively conversation with.
It is not cheap, but they use high quality products, and they even have outdoor seating with some outdoor heaters.
It’s very quaint and reminds me a bit of a cafe in Europe. I recommend it for good coffee, a great atmosphere, high end bakery goods, and very friendly staff!
