No substitutions allowed on a pretty limited menu. Spent 12 dollars on an omelette that was smaller and more greasy then the average Denny's meal. Definitely won't go back.

Best cup of coffee in Humboldt, individually brewed using cone drip method... so good! The food is top notch too, but pricey.

I come here every time I'm on Arcata. Fresh made pastries and a proper croissant made on site makes a huge difference. I go for coffee and a croissant but their food is good too.

Very popular cafe restaurant on the corner next to the main plaza. Always busy, but with high turn-over you can generally find a table. Beautiful coffee and pastries. Great service: friendly and fast. Good place to sit outside and enjoy the day.

Amazing mac and cheese. Wish it was bigger for the price. Cute outdoor seating. They offer a student discount.

The staff doesn't know the difference between eggs cooked over easy or sunny side up. Then they throw a fit, and slam them down on the table. The whole breakfast was very poor.

I love the milkyway tart, so delicious and satisfying; I always bring some to my friend’s house when hanging in the garden watching the hummingbirds feed from the feeders on a warm summer day.

Cafe Brio knows how to make a cappuccino right! While it is a little more expensive than other local cafes it is well worth it. The staff and owner work hard to make this place top notch and it shows!

One would think, especially on Valentine's Day, that the counter staff could muster up a "Good Morning", a smile or a "Thank You". Instead, I received cold, not even lukewarm service. I won't be back.
