Great coffee and breakfast food and a friendly staff!

The place has great atmosphere. I felt very comfortable and could see myself having coffee or tea here on a regular basis. I liked the selection of baked goods, the menu seemed to have something for everyone, and there is ample seating. My cup of spiced mocha was mediocre. It wasn't hot, and it had hardly any spice at all. I order this drink often and expect a 'kick' which is why I get it. Not the end of the world. My omelette on the other hand, was not at all what I expected. My omelette was 3 overcooked eggs with veggies tossed in. I thought the veggies would have been cooked but no. So, tried out the biscuits and gravy. Better, but I wish the gravy was slightly thinner. The biscuit was great and tasted fresh. As for service, I wasn't impressed. I went in a Friday morning at 8am. It wasn't busy. The staff only allowed acknowledged people ordering and left anyone else at the counter standing. There were four people that could have at least said, 'We'll be right with you.' Instead, nothing until everyone else ordered. All the gentleman wanted to know was which coffee was his.

A delightful throwback that you’ll love if you have pleasant memories of the ‘60s. Old bare brick walls, lots of wood, abstract art and not a speck of plastic in its comfy interior. A broad and delicious menu for breakfast and lunch with plenty of coffee and tea to choose from. You’ll enjoy huge omelettes, excellent sausage, egg and cheese biscuit tacos, burritos and pastries, all made to order as you wait.

Good food and coffee, just go early because they run out of most of the things you're going to want to order

Poor service, coffee/food better than average.

My last visit I was welcomed by a staff member slamming chairs to tables and making an ungodly racket. He couldn’t have cared less!

The same gentleman made my Thai latte and it was not how it usually tastes. I believe he didn’t care to be at work or put any effort into his work.

On a high note, lunch was good. I had the Cuban, and while it had very little ham, the rest was tasty.

In closing, this experience has finalized my personal opinion to never return. While some items have at times been fantastic, consistency is the cafes downside. You really never know what you will get.

Mugs always has great drinks and good food. Their fig and prosciutto sandwich is great, but unfortunately they’re often out of prosciutto which is a bummer. That would be my only negative, because all the other food and drinks I’ve had there are really good too! I would also recommend the chocolate muffin.

Chipotle chicken wrap was dry and tasteless. Apples were old and browning. The meal overall was expensive and not worth it. They also ask for a tip in advance of your food being delivered, even though you pick it up from the window yourself. Would not recommend. Will not be back.

Someone took my.food when order was up. Mugs staff remade it with haste and refunded me. Food was excellent and a healthier option. Great customer service.

Wonderful food & great atmosphere! They can be very busy so be patient, it's worth it. Biscuits and gravy sell out early!
