The place was quiet we got there about 7:30 and 8:00 and staff quickly attended to our request for drinks. About 9:30 - 10:30 the place was jam packed. From my understanding there's three different bars in this facility. The upstairs bar, the line was wrapped around the building. Really did enjoy myself.

If I'm rating the food I had, I give it a 3. However, I had breakfast, and judging from the look of it, breakfast is not meant to be it's major appeal.
Breakfast: the sandwich, burrito, coffee, and two pastries. The eggs had no salt, the bacon was over cooked, but the bun and cheese were good. Overall, a mediocre sandwich. The potatoes had no seasoning either. I can't speak to the burrito, but it looked good. My girls said it was delicious. The cronut was good-sweet and fluffy. The blueberry muffin was boring and just ok. The coffee was ok too, not awesome.
What was good: seemed to cater to college students, there's plenty of spaces to plug in and do work, there's a varied menu if you're hungry, and a store to grab and go. Also, there's several rooms with bars and dance floors, at least 3, plus the patio area. I'm almost certain it's a great place to have drinks, listen to music, dance, and hang out.

Great place to hang out. The drinks are good and made quickly. Bartenders really know what they're doing. The food was also good! Had the Margherita Pizza, Barbacoa Sliders and Ham Sliders.

I loved this place so much! Comforting enjoyment to work and the atmosphere is really relaxed; it's got a great vibe. There is a full menu of food, and great drinks with lots of options for food coffee and tea. Lots of vegan options, too! I can't wait to come back again!

Walked in and saw two other people at the bar for a Saturday afternoon? The bartender was quick on his feet with making drinks but he didn’t seem like he wanted to be there or really make his guests feel comfortable. Short answers and questions and other than processing your payment thats all he spoke to you. Not even a “hello, how’s it going?”

Hostile architecture, makes you feel like you’re not allowed to be there. Condescending signs tell you you’re not allowed to study, eat, or use the wifi. Read some other reviews and look at the sarcastic and dismissive replies from the owner before patronizing this establishment.

Great place, right downtown off the rail. Relaxed environment with an upstairs as well. Great place to get work done or to just enjoy some good food.

*Review of the Ghost Ship*

Last night my friends and I visited the Ghost ship for the first time as a birthday celebration. (we happened to have 5 of us celebrating birthdays together). We first showed up as a group of four meeting a group of 6 and I could tell they were stressed about seating us(largest table inside seats 6). We had thought it would be more of a mingling environment but it seemed they really preferred us in one spot. We had a couple others join and the host really wanted to have us sit at the large table outside but the decorations don't really branch out to the outside area so we really wanted to stay in. That's when the bartender suggested the upstairs which was really cool and much easier for us all to sit near one another.

Thank you guys for accommodating us and our shenanigans :D

The drinks appear expensive but are VERY strong, so rest assured you are getting your moneys worth. The rum drinks were definitely the strongest, and if you prefer something lighter I would lean toward the banana based ones, or the coconut drink, they really aren't overpoweringly sweet. All the drinks balance the flavors quite nicely. Notable comment from the bartender after a friend mentioned the drink strength "Well it's a pirate bar" haha.

There are a few food options, but we ate before knowing that it would be more appetizer focused. We tried the board and the stuffed figs, the board had a great spread but the stuffed figs were TO DIE FOR. I highly suggest at least trying the figs if you make your way there.

This is definitely an experience I would recommend, the staff was cool, the atmosphere carefully catered to create an interesting and stimulating environment. I also appreciated that the music was at a good volume so that it filled the space but it was still easy to conversate as well. Definitely scope out the art if you stop by!

Visited the Ghost Ship bar. Excellent atmosphere, made to feel intimate and tight as if below deck on a pirate ship. Get there right when they open to avoid a wait. Huge variety of cocktails to cover all tastes, and a few appetizer options to fill the space between rounds.

I actually went to Ghost Bar, located within the Grand. It's a great tiki bar, but they wouldn't mix off menu tiki drinks, and they charge $20 per person. I would have spent more than that but it felt as though the server was pushing us to drink and leave.
