Goth ambiance in a way that makes you want to stay for hours. Super sweet staff...thank you for the birthday cookie. Great food, drinks and awesome treats to go with coffees. The patio is pretty awesome as well, including a stage from back when we had live musics. Super cool place

Cool lay out, food took a little while and it was made wrong... I didn't want to wait that long again so I packed it to go for a roommate.. a month before this I had tried a lemon bar and it tasted like fish ☹ seems like a nice chill staff though, good music playing. I really enjoyed the Farmers Market outside right across the street on Saturday mornings though! Nice area, good spot to grab coffee or Italian soda 24/7 if you're up and around the area

Had an absolute amazing time. This time was better than before covid. The people were a lot nicer and they had access to a taco truck!! If you go dancing, then you know how important tacos are. LoL the food was amazing. The dancing was amazing. We left at 4 am and got there at 1130. I'm not the dancing type but if it's like this more often I will be there more often!!

I come here at least once a week. It's a very welcoming atmosphere, and has plenty of nooks and crannies to get lost in and get work done or do some reading. The beer selection is very solid, and the pricing is decent at happy hour. Their kitchen opened recently and the offerings I've sampled thus far have been fantastic. Great coffee, using beans from Infusion (based out of Tempe).

Great atmosphere along with good drinks and friendly staff. The Grand definitely has it's own unique vibe! First Fridays is literally a walk away across the street, downtown is a short 10-15 minute walk, and there is a club right next to it. The interior is very aesthetic as well, and they have live performances sometimes on Fridays. This is definitely a great place to hang out with friends, do homework, or just people watch in general. Open 24 hours as well so there is always something going on, engery here feels great.

The place used to be great -- good menu and nice people. Now the menu only has five items, the management is extremely rude, some big tables (which were great for a big group of people working) became "no laptop" zones and other tables are "reserved" for parties of four, six or more. And they definitely don't have enough outlets. So, if you are planning on having a work-day at a nice coffee place, this place isn't it.

Misleading information - they dont serve food 24 hours. Sweet bike rack in front gains them one additional star.

A good location and old Victorian rail station themed interior gives The Grand a great look and feel. Being my first visit I was caught by surprise that it was essentially an order at the cash and pick up your own order at the kitchen format. No staff to point this out, had to figure it out on my own. A neat concept when you figure this out. I ordered the BLAST sandwich on lightly toasted Rye bread and sweet potato fries. Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Swiss, Tomato. Reasonable prices. Overall, a nice experience. Not sure I am a fan of a restaurant with so little staff engagement with customers though.

I am going to have to rescind my-5 star review. On New Year's Eve, I stopped in. I was so happy to be back as I was a former, regular customer and thought I'd spend the evening there for the holiday. I had only been able to visit here and there in the previous month or two since I hadn't really been in that part of town much. I moved to a table upstairs after sitting downstairs, recovering from walking outside for a long time in the cold. I was in the middle of checking my bank account before going back downstairs to order when I believe the head manager/owner said to me that the table I was sitting at was for paying customers and then walked away without giving me a chance to respond. I used to say hello to him often when I was there and he was working. I'm not sure if he didn't recognize me but he alienated a faithful customer like myself by assuming that I was not a customer. If he had genuinely greeted and welcomed me perhaps he would have realized I had been there before, many times before. I leave a two star instead of a one because I enjoyed interacting with many of the assistant managers while ordering drinks, entrees and snacks.

***FORMER REVIEW: I love the staff. Spacious outdoor and indoor seating. Loved what I tried on the "secret" libations menu in the speakeasy upstairs and can't wait to start going *there on a regular basis. A go-to spot open all hours of the day.
