Amazing food, wonderful servers, all around great place to eat!

The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice. The service was just ok. We had to go up and ask for refills, then we waited a while after we were done eating for the waitress to come get our check (it was not very busy). The food was also just ok. The French fries had a fishy taste to them. What was terrible are the prices. $7 for a kids meal and an additional $3.29 for a kids drink. I was not happy when I looked at my check and saw that my 2 year old's small cup of juice wasn't included in his meal and that it cost so much. I was really hoping to like this place as there aren't very many good restaurants out this way.

We went for lunch today after getting a recommendation from someone else. Do it! I love a good local spot. The food was fantastic comfort food and the service was wonderful! I wish I would have caught our server's name. I appreciated how personable she was, even with the kids. I do remember she had animal print Crocs if that helps management to recognize her 🤣 We will probably be coming back before my visiting family leaves town. Thanks for a great experience!

Very good food, friendly wait staff, & fun decor!

Great Food, reasonably priced menu. I have eaten their chicken fried steak twice now. Excellent. The servings are well proportioned as well, so if you're hungry, you will be satisfied! Friendly staff, small little home in the wall diner. I think it may be family owned. Overall, great place for breakfast!

Always good food, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. Gina is always fun and keeps things lively.

Love coming here to eat. The atmosphere is very friendly, the waitresses are terrific and social. The food is Awesome. My favorite meal is Liver and onions with mashed potatoes and a bowl of coleslaw and dinner roll. Hard to find a cafe like this, it's a 5 Star for sure.

The food was amazing! I had the Amigo Omelette which was cooked perfectly - light and fluffy inside, lightly browned on the outside to maintain shape, and the ingredients to egg ratio was spot on! It was a huge omelette, and the hash browns were awesome and plentful. Nice job, Cook!
The prices are okay but I'm giving only 4 stars because of the gouging on beverages. Tea and soda are over $3 ($3.29 & $3.79, I think.) Even with free refills this is exorbitant. Especially since most folks don't dilly dally as it's predominantly a lunch place, so people are just there on a break; also they close at 2pm.
I love to meet here because the food and the atmosphere make The Florence Cafe one of the best 3 restaurants in town.
I do wish they were open for dinner...if only a few days per week.
